A yew stock is required to make a rune crossbow. Yew stocks are made by using a knife on yew logs at Fletching level 69, granting 50 experience. A yew stock can be attached to rune crossbow limbs at Fletching level 69, granting 100 experience, to make an unstrung rune crossbow.
