Woodcutting cape detail

A Woodcutting cape can be purchased for 99,000 coins alongside the Woodcutting hood from Wilfred (who can be found wandering through the trees left of the north exit in Falador) by players who have achieved level 99 Woodcutting. Woodcutting skillcapes are light brown in colour and have a green trim if the player has more than one level 99 skill.

The emote, just like every other skillcape emote, was updated on May 25 2010, adding particles when cutting the tree. As of 22 April 2014, there are 112,396 current members that have achieved level 99 in Woodcutting. Operating the cape will give a temporary boost, raising the player's Woodcutting level to 100/99. This effect will wear off after a period of time, but be renewed if operated on again. The woodcutting cape is also one of the most common skillcapes, being easy to get with trees near every major town in RuneScape.

TriviaEdit

  • Currently, 112,396 people are able to own this cape (as seen on the highscores).
  • The Woodcutting skill icon is slightly lower on the Woodcutting cape than on most of the other Capes of Accomplishment.
  • The Woodcutting cape emote is based on the Japanese children's game Daruma Otoshi. A large version of the game, similar to the size in the emote, was featured on the show Unbeatable Banzuke with the title "Daruma 7".
