Quests:
Trouble in the temple
Items needed: Two sets of mourner gear, new key
- Talk to Arianwyn in Lletya in the large building to the east and give him a set of mourner gear.
- If you don't have a set of mourner gear for yourself, go south from Eagles' Peak lodestone to Arandar and get one by killing a mourner (suit is dropped undamaged).
- Enter the Mourner Headquarters in the north-east of West Ardougne, and climb down through the trapdoor with the other set of mourner gear equipped.
- Speak to the head mourner and suggest freeing the gnome. The key to his cell is on the head mourner's desk.
- Talk to the gnome about causing a distraction.
- Enter the tunnels with the new key and approach the Temple of Light.
- Remove your gas mask and enchant the blank teleport crystal by standing ten paces east of the first slave, which is just north of the jutting rock.
- After the cutscene, return to Lletya and talk to Arianwyn until he teleports you.
The Death Altar
Items needed: Crystal trinket
- Reach the Death Altar by teleporting or by walking to it. If you teleport, the black doorway may not be open because you chose to keep the door to the east open; if this happens, teleport out and run back.
- Talk to Thorgel near the Death Altar.
- Talk to Arianwyn.
- Investigate the energised pillar.
- Talk to Arianwyn.
- Use the crystal trinket on the energised pillar.
- Talk to Arianwyn.
- Enter the mysterious ruins.
- Remember these steps and do them quickly, or you'll have to try again:
- Talk to Thorgel and become energised.
- Exit the altar.
- Pass the door of light.
- Rotate the first pillar of light mirror by the stairs.
- Go up and use the stairs to the north.
- Run all the way east then south to the large crystal and touch it.
- Run back down the stairs and touch the energised pillar.
Within the light itself
One solution to directing a white light into the black receiver
- Once you're in, search the Dead slave, and solve the puzzles by getting the beams to the coloured receivers. Refer to the full guide if you can't figure it out.
- Climb up the ladder on the south wall.
Sharpshooter
If you die, your grave will appear behind the energised pillar. To get there, teleport to the death altar through the Abyss or the wicked hood if the door to the altar is unlocked. You will have to repeat the energisation process again to re-enter the platform puzzle area. Progress of the light puzzle will also be saved.
- Reach the platform with the ballista avoiding the spikes.
- Shoot it at the right time to hit the target.
The passage to Prifddinas
- Go back and jump to the ladder.
- Go through the large stone door in the west wall.
- Search the Elf messenger.
- Read the report.
- Go back to Arianwyn in Lletya.
- Quest complete!
