Notable features Helps in Animal Magnetism/Plays a part in Black Knights' Fortress.
A Witch is non-player character, usually a humanoid female who is capable of wielding magic and wearing evidently mystical outfits, mostly including a pointed hat. Though only two are named simply as Witch:

  • One dwells in Draynor Manor. (There previously existed an option to attack her, and no option to talk to her. She was combat level 25, had ten hitpoints and was seldom attacked by players as she was far from a bank. However, the attack option was removed with the quest Animal Magnetism and players are now able to talk to her.) This is possibly the witch the witch in the Black Knights' Fortress was referring to as her cousin (named Helda).

Other witches, going by their own names, are :

  • The Sorceress and Sorceress' Apprentice in Al Kharid. (Originally, a Witch (monster) was in the hut where the apprentice presently is. She was combat level 25, had ten hitpoints and was seldom attacked by players as she was far from a bank. After the Sorceress's Garden update in 2007, she was changed into the Sorceress' Apprentice, and a second floor was added).
This is the former appearance of the witch in Draynor Manor. Back then, she was level 25.

[edit] Trivia

  • During Animal Magnetism, it is revealed that the witch of Draynor Manor used to shove little kids into her oven (most likely a reference to the Grimm Brothers' fairy tale Hansel and Gretel). However, she has since been to "anger management classes." Player characters take offence to her somewhat patronizing tone, and she threatens to return to her old ways. This leaves an open door to the creation of a future quest.
  • She says "'ello my poppet",possibly a reference to Pirates of the Caribbean.
