Willow seedlings are the result of planting a willow seed in a plant pot with a trowel. Once watered, these seedlings will take approximately five minutes to grow into a Willow sapling. Players must have 30 farming to plant the seed.

The Willow seedlings are used by many players as a cheaper but faster way to improve their level in Farming. They are also used to grow a Willow tree close by other trees for maximum woodcutting experience.

Willow seedlings can grow when being stored in Bank, so there is no need to watch them grow in your inventory.
