White Knight equipment

White Knight equipment (also known as white equipment) is a group of weapons and armour that are member's only. As their name suggests, the equipment is white. To wield White Knight equipment the player must have completed the Wanted! quest, and have at least 10 Attack to wield weapons and 10 Defence to wear armour.

To obtain White Knight equipment, a player can either buy items from Sir Vyvin in the Falador Castle or trade with another player. However, what white equipment you are able to buy from Sir Vyvin depends on your White Knight ranking. The white knight equipment is the 3rd most protective armour.

Knight Rankings

In order to increase your ranking and unlock equipment items, you must kill a certain number of Black Knights. If you kill White Knights the number of black knights you've killed will decrease, i.e. if you kill 1 white knight while having 1 black knight killed, your black knight kill will decrease to 0. This sometimes causes some players to drop rankings. Your current ranking can be found in your Quest Journal under the Wanted! quest.

• Novice - 100 Black Knights - chainbody and platelegs
• Peon - 200 Black Knights - dagger and shortsword
• Page - 300 Black Knights - medium helm, plateskirt and square shield
• Noble - 500 Black Knights - mace, Magic staff and longsword
• Adept - 800 Black Knights - full helm, platebody, kiteshield, armoured boots and gloves
• Master - 1,300 Black Knights - 2h sword, halberd, scimitar, warhammer, battleaxe and claws

It is important to note that the White Knight Order are not too keen about you killing other White Knights, and therefore may penalize you for doing so by removing certain honors bestowed upon you i.e. ability to wear certain items and/or removing a ranking. So, if you used to have your respawn point in Falador, and just killed off White Knights to die and respawn there to collect your items, you may not want to do this any longer.

White equipment offers the same bonuses as black weapons and black armour, except for a slightly higher Prayer bonus. This is effectively a way for some players to extend the length that a prayer potion will last. You may see some players fighting steel, iron, and bronze dragons wearing some white equipment to make their pray pots go the distance to save on money. Some higher level players wear this armour to show off their high rank as a white knight, possibly wearing the platebody, platelegs, kiteshield and the full helmet, along with a dragon scimitar or abyssal whip.

Six pieces of the White Knight Armour (Full Helm, Platebody, Platelegs, Gloves, Boots and Kiteshield) can be stored in a Player-owned house in the Armour Case of their Costume Room.
