A whale is a large aquatic animal that occasionally appears at the Deep Sea Fishing hub. It surfaces for approximately 2 minutes to seek help in dislodging a fisherman that was accidentally swallowed. Aiding the whale will produce magnetic minnow and successfully extracting the fisherman will grant a Deep Sea Fishing boost, which increases fishing catch rate by 10% for 30 minutes if the player was present when the event started, and 10 minutes if the player hopped.
