Water talisman

From the RuneScape Wiki, the wiki for all things RuneScape

The Water talisman is an item that allows players to enter the water altar located south of Lumbridge and south-east of Draynor Village in the swamps. It can be combined with a tiara to make a water tiara for 30 experience at the water altar by using the tiara on the altar. This will make the talisman disappear, but the tiara can be used in just the same way and can be worn. Both the tiara and the talisman allow players to use the Runecrafting skill.

This talisman can be used to create combination runes.

Water talismans can be obtained as drops from regular wizards, the water wizard, dark wizards, giant frogs, the Dagannoth Prime, brine rats, waterfiends, abyssal leeches and Icefiends. Icefiends, located on Ice Mountain, are relatively easy to kill and drop a high rate of water talismans. Abyssal leeches also drop many talismans and are a good source of water talismans for higher level players.

A water talisman is used in conjunction with an air talisman as tertiary items in creating an ice titan pouch and as secondary item for a geyser titan pouch.

[edit] Tips

Requirement: 50+ Runecrafting

If you win Runecrafting Guild Tokens at the Great Orb Project, it is suggested to buy as many Water Talismans as you can, for these can make great profit per token. They can be sold at the Grand Exchange for a fairly high price because of the demand for making Geyser titan(s). Each Water Talisman costs 50 tokens and can be obtained throughout the minigame by amassing tokens. (Members are advised to buy pure essence for 50 tokens as it gives more money.)
