Water rune running

From the RuneScape Wiki, the wiki for all things RuneScape

(Redirected from Water running)

Water rune running (or simply Water running) is relatively new, due to the shop update of September 9, 2009, removing the price cap on water runes allowing them to raise past 40 coins each, making them more profitable than Air runes.

It is a way to make great money/water runes and runecrafting experience.

Runners and Assisters can usually be found in the Air running, World 16, Though they have also been seen in World 1.

[edit] Location and Route

The location of the water altar is about half-way between Draynor Village and Lumbridge, on the south-central end of the Lumbridge Swamp

It is recommend to have an explorers ring to shorten the travel time.

For how to "run" water running, the process is similar to air running. Please visit the page for details. However, some details about the route is given here. There is one nearby musician at east of Draynor bank. Running players (both types) must choose to rest at this musician. The one west of cabbage field should be ignored. The process of running is simply withdraw rune essence from Draynor bank, go to Water Altar, craft or trade the runes and then return. Explorer's ring, as mentioned, can save travel time but it is unwise to use its restore energy function, due to the convienience of musician.
