A water rune obtained in the Runespan is created by siphoning water esslings, water pools (both requiring 5 Runecrafting) and vines (with 17 Runecrafting), requiring one rune essence and giving 12.5, 25.5 and 32.5 experience respectively.
Water runes are worth 0.15 Runespan points and can be used with ice platforms, vine platforms and mist platforms. They can also be used to chip earth esslings and fire esslings. They will disappear and be converted into points if you leave the Runespan.
If you try to bank any runes or essence from Runespan you get the message "A magical force prevents you from banking this item."
