The Vampire bat is a level 31 Summoning familiar. It is summoned using a Vampire bat pouch, which will give you 1.5 Summoning experience. Its attack speed is faster than that of most familiars: about the same speed as a scimitar or a dagger.

A Vampire bat pouch is made by using a Summoning pouch on a Summoning obelisk with 81 spirit shards, a crimson charm, and Vampire Dust in the inventory. Making the pouch earns 136 experience points. Using the pouch to summon a Vampire Bat gains 1.5 experience points, and costs 4 Summoning points.

Vampire touch scroll enables the use of the vampire touch special move for a Vampire Bat. Using the pouch on a Summoning obelisk creates 10 scrolls.

The Vampire bat also has a special attack called Vampire Touch, which can be activated if you have a Vampire Touch scroll in your inventory. It deals damage to your opponents, with a maximum hit of 12. It also has a chance of healing your hitpoints by two.
