[edit] Help pl0x
Could you please me why this signature is messing up my guest book? (It's the signature right below mine) Thanks, Andrew talk 02:11, October 26, 2009 (UTC)
- Oh by the way, when I tried the edit report tool it just redirected me back to the original edit report page without my name typed into the box. Andrew talk 02:13, October 26, 2009 (UTC)
- One last thing. Mass rollback no longer works (I don't even see the link anymore) since the links at the top were changed with the addition of avatars. Andrew talk 02:18, October 26, 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Exchange templates
Hi, I've been going through the Category:Grand Exchange by date updated and updating them all from oldest to newest, and I've noticed a problem with the templates... When no input is supplied for shops or alchemy values, it says N/A, but that's not right! It should say "unknown"... but I don't know how to do that... could you possibly change that so if no value is input it says unknown, and if "No" is input for alchemy values, it says "Cannot be alchemised" (or whatever the proper term is)? The output for the shop section when you input "No" seems fine to me though. Thanks in advance,

- Thanks! Will all the changes take effect on other exchange templates, like {{GEItem}}?

- What does it currently do when no value is input?

- Hm.... a bunch of colums of "unknown" would look pretty bad... but then again it'd be a good motivator to go through and get rid of them.... I say we leave it. Having them blank is a good way to show that there's no data input, but not having it be too disruptive. Another thing though, could you change the "history" link to point to the actual exchange page, in this case Exchange:Dust cloud scroll, instead of just the image? Its not very useful as-is.

- Maybe the as-of-yet-unnamed column could be named "history", and the links in it could be "view" "edit" and "graph". What do you think of that idea?

[edit] CTI and vandalism
Hey, I just read where you say vandalizing an items price can upset it. Is there any way we can make that price never have happened? Otherwise we can't trust our CTI and that kills the point of it.--Degenret01 18:17, October 28, 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Auto welcome script
Hi,
I recently added your auto-welcome script to my monaco.js, but it's a bit awkward.
I entered a custom variable (my welcome instead of the normal one), so that it now puts {{subst:User:Oli4burggraa/Welcome|~~~~~}} there, but is puts something else there, as if it says {{subst:User:Oli4burggraa/Welcome|—~~~~}}. Could you please help me?

[edit] Newsletters
Hey, I saw a thing on QBot's page that it could deliver newsletters and if someone wanted to start a newsletter they should contact you. Well, I decided to make a newsletter. C:> CD Dosdummy
Errr.. OK. It'll be called the "RuneScape Wikia Game Developing Newsletter" (or RSWGDN for short). I expect 5 or lower people to subscribe. C:> CD Dosdummy P.S. Do you you know of any web browsers I can use on my PS3 apart from the annoying default one? The default one is what made me have to start a new subject here :/
- Sorry about my stupid PS3 Web Browser making me make a new section.

[edit] Edit report 2
According to my edit report, this is one of the pages that I edit most.
But that's not why I'm posting this. The edit report ([1]) doesn't seem to be updating! It says that my last edit was yesterday, but I have also made edits today. Am I being impatient, or is it something else?
Sorry for posting here all the time,

[edit] Templates
This is becoming one of my most edited pages
Somehow, the templates-in-toolbar script doesn't work anymore. Now, I read on your talk that Iiiii I I I had this same problem but that you fixed it because of some error in the script. However, since I have a custom script (User:Oli4burggraa/templates.js) I think my script is now broken. How do I fix it? Oli4burggraa Talk

[edit] Fluffy bunnies
I need help with some fluffy bunnies which aren't behaving as ordered. Gaz has started them off but has seemed to have gotten busy, so I figured I'd spread my annoying amongst other users. The fluffy bunnies are used for citing resources. The initial desired lettuce/fertilizer can be found here (in the collapsable table), and the DNA can all be found here (I haven't changed it while putting it fluffy bunnies). I've also created this page which runs each fluffy bunny through a number of tests to determine that it handles the situation gracefully no matter what bizarre combination of lettuce is provided (it didn't take as much time as it looks!). The links to the fluffy bunnies in question are {{CiteForum}} {{CiteGG}} {{CiteDevBlog}} {{CiteNews}} {{CitePostbag}} {{CiteGodLetter}}. Thanks in advance for any thought you give my precious fluffy bunnies!

- He fixed almost all of them, but there are still two problems I see - first with {{CiteGG}}, there's an issue when the URL and section title is specified, but not the article title. I've marked the issues in the test page. Also in the Game Guide template, two periods appear in each case. Second issue, with {{CitePostbag}}, when a title is specified, but an issue number is not, it says "Postbag - Postbag title"... which is redundant because of the last entry. I have also marked these on the test page. {{CiteGodLetter}} has the same issue, but with the names switched around. Other than that they're perfect >_>

[edit] Javascript on the wiki
Hi, I was planning to write an algorithm for the mapquest idea, but I'm a bit confused as to how (if?) javascript gets into wiki pages. Looking through the scripts on your user page, it seems that each script must be added to the wiki user's monaco.js. This means that visitors without a wiki account wouldn't be able to use them, and that a user would see each script on every page of the wiki. Have I understood correctly? Is there no way to have a script on a particular page (in this case, a shortest path script on the (eventual) map quest page)? Stewbasic 23:19, November 6, 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Bot thingy
Hi Quarenon! Here is the things that you told me to tell you about:
- What i want the bot to do: I want it to remove redlinks from pages.
- Username of bot: Redlinkbot
- What wiki it will be used on: Erm.... RuneScape News Wiki
If you need more information just tell me.
Cheers,
Rswfan (talk) (contribs) (#) 18:48, November 10, 2009 (UTC)
Well, As I am not an administrator on my computer, I cannot download stuff like that. I think you should do it. Sorry if this wastes your time. Thanks,

[edit] QBot
May I have the scource code for the version of QBot that runs on the TBO wiki, if you don't mind? —
Enigma 23:36, November 10, 2009 (UTC)
- Err, how do you go about running it? Just dragging the PHP file to PHP.exe doesn't seem to work. I just want something exactly like the newsletter bot only one that I control, so I can send things to different users who want the QBot messages but not the ones I have planned... What I've done is copied the scource code into a php file, edited just a tad to make it do what I want (like defining a few things that are different) and dragged it to php.exe, but nothing happens, am I doing something wrong? —

[edit] RS:WP Bot?
Hello, Quarenon, I believe that you are working on a bot for the RSWP, as asked by Jack Spiral. I got curious, and I'm wondering what the Bot is to be doing. I could use about any information about what the Bot is made to do. Thanks. --Mister Craftsman! 02:26, November 12, 2009 (UTC)- I see. Hmm... Well, I noticed something. When I logged in to the thing, the list didn't include the last two people on it, me and Caleb. Isn't this supposed to include them? Also, does that website of your's can use Wikia coding and such? --Mister Craftsman! 14:38, November 12, 2009 (UTC)
- Okay, the thing works fine from what I can tell, Cheers! Though I have so many things to do now... --Mister Craftsman! 16:16, November 12, 2009 (UTC)
