Yay first post! Ya, so I made an undo to your siggy, here. It was messing up formatting and the initial edit seemed to be suspect coding. Just wanted to give you a heads up, hope it helped. Tollerachhates SoF 19:41, February 26, 2010 (UTC)
Just a reminder for the Golden quill nominations, all submissions to the RSWP must be submitted before the final day of March or they will not be considered for the award, for further details, see the Wiki Post main page

Just an FYI, while it is nice to it doesn't matter really if people say why they oppose or support an article. The AOTM is pretty much a pure vote count, the closer doesn't have to weigh arguments as they do in RFAs.--Degenret01 10:47, March 4, 2010 (UTC)
Maybe they are too embarrassed to put their names next to the word support? lol.--Degenret01 15:01, March 4, 2010 (UTC)
thanks for your support on the issue. regarding what i am proposing, hopefull this will clear it up:
the cache would have an article, with ALL, both unreleased and released, images on it.
the images would ONLY appear on that article, and could not be used on normal articles. think of it like a list/archive: thats whats in the cache, and we are keeping a list of it. i want it to be a tool for speculators- a place that you could browse threw, seeing if anything interesting was it in, or if any new stuff was likely to come into the game any time soon. however, i want to keep the actual speculating off the wiki.
both fo these ideas can be changed- i just tryed to organize it in the most wiki-friendly way. if you want something removed/added to how it would work, feel free to tell me. 3rd age farcaster 23:09, March 27, 2010 (UTC)
we *could* have 1000s of images on subpages, couldnt we? im not sure if it would be a good idea, however. dont u think it would kinda encourage speculation about what they are if we where to only include future update ones? im a qcape owner, and speculate all the time but i dont think that i could know and recognize every single model.. 3rd age farcaster 13:28, March 28, 2010 (UTC)
how about this: we list ever images as a number, and say what it is. then, on a subpage, have actual images of items that dont exist in game. 3rd age farcaster 13:34, March 28, 2010 (UTC)
but whats so bad about a list? it wouldnt make ppl lag, and it doesnt sound that hard to make. 3rd age farcaster 14:51, March 28, 2010 (UTC)
the only images would be items that are not ingame. everything else would have a number or a name. 3rd age farcaster 14:57, March 28, 2010 (UTC)
not a single list on this wiki, that iv seen, is disorganized. and i dont wanna just ignore the things that are aready in game... 3rd age farcaster 15:02, March 28, 2010 (UTC)
I appreciate farcasters enthusiasm, but even I did not know he intended to have every image on a single page. Like he said though, its all open to negotiation and can be changed easily. I think getting the idea of allowing cache images at all is what we were all generally talking about, and hope you change back to support. TEbuddy 19:15, March 28, 2010 (UTC)
i didnt intend that..... just the name/number of every single image, and not all on 1 page. 3rd age farcaster 19:45, March 28, 2010 (UTC)

Heyoooo, my name's Alex. I found your RSMV wikia by accident, and I edited a page, and I'm probably going to do more. I hope you don't mind =D, I checked your page and noticed you haven't done much on this wiki. It's a good idea, and I'd like to know some plans you had for it incase you didn't want to really do much on it so I can possibly carry them out? o__o ^-^ pchAlex 21:22, April 24, 2010 (UTC)
Aww, that's too bad then. I kinda got used to seeing you putting your "1337 3D171N6 5K1LL2" to good use on the Wiki, but at least it's nice to see you again on the Wiki. Just please, no matter what you decide to do whilst here on the Wiki, don't click here. If you've already clicked there, please do the honourable thing and steal Rwojy's bukkit collection sign my Guestbook, pl0x! Later, gator! N7 Elite(Ready to talk now?) 17:43, August 16, 2010 (UTC)

As a general rule of thumb, I always block on the first edit if the edit involved something inappropriate. His edit involved something about "cocks", "boners", and "masterbaton" (misspelled form of masturbation). That's enough for me to block on the first edit. --King LiquidheliumTalk 15:37, August 17, 2010 (UTC)
Oli-Basically there's not much hope for people like that. People who go in and say...mess with values in infoboxes are oftentimes just screwing around, and they don't think it will change on the page. You tell them, and they are like...oh okay, and sometimes they start contributing. (Why we have test edit warning templates). People who add profanity to pages...they know exactly what happens, and they want that, so there's really not much of a point in waiting to see if they vandalize more, because it's just a question of when, not whether. 3 days isn't that long of a block either. HaloTalk 16:29, August 17, 2010 (UTC)
There's also hope the Detroit Lions will win the superbowl...that doesn't mean it's going to happen. Just because there's hope doesn't mean it's worth it. And if he/she/it/thing/being does decide to contribute in 3 days, that's all fine and well, but more likely they'll have gotten bored and left or they will just come back and vandalize. HaloTalk 16:42, August 17, 2010 (UTC)
Most people consider them the worst team in the NFL, sorry, didn't know you were from Europe. And...he gets a second chance...in 3 days. HaloTalk 16:52, August 17, 2010 (UTC)
Maybe, maybe not, we'll see in 3 days. HaloTalk 16:57, August 17, 2010 (UTC)
I saw you said something about that firefox lags extremely much, on the Talk:Graphical improvements, so i wanted to say Google Chrome does actually not, and it is totally free. Please don't start a discussion with me, i just wanted to say it. Good luck.JOEYTJE50TALK 15:59, August 17, 2010 (UTC)
How can he know if Google Chrome will not also lag? It's mainly down to CPU and connection speed (i think o_O). "Please don't start a discussion with me" why ever not?
Anyway, you might want to tweak your about:config in FF to increase the speed. This only works if you are using broadband and not dialup.
If you want to do it, open a new tab and type in about:config. Click "I'll be careful, promise". In the filter type in "network.http". You will see various "preference name"s.
Find the following
network.http.pipelining, change the boolean to true
network.http.proxy.pipelining, change the boolean to true
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests, change the integer to 8
network.http.max-connections, change the integer to 50
network.http.max-connections-per-server, change this to 30
Also, you could change the amount of time it takes for the browser to display the information it has received. I haven't done this, but you could: search for nglayout.initialpaint.delay” and set its value to 0 (zero) If you don't have it, right-click New-> Integer, and make it yourself.

I bet you feel bad, huh? Well, as I've said, Stewie is no one to mess with... Sheila's address is 832 Orangewood Lane. Go to her. Lil Diriz 77Talk 10:14, August 18, 2010 (UTC)

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. So you know, the whole RE: thing is meant to be used with the heading of the discussion. For example, I post something on your talk page with the heading (==____==) "Lolcatz". If you wanted to use RE: to reply you'd have the heading "RE:Lolcatz". If you use something different they won't have any idea what you're talking about.
When you used "Re:Wow" I thought you were refering to me moving all those treasure trail guide pages...
In response to your question, lol not sure. MattTalk 10:48, August 18, 2010 (UTC)
Hmm that doesn't make any sense... the point is you could clarify on what you were talking about... MattTalk 10:51, August 18, 2010 (UTC)

First of all, welcome back! =) And no, there isn't (I happen to be proposing it on the Yew Grove though) - I just find it extremely ugly. Fswe1Lore project•Fun gallery My quests•Cutscenes 10:51, March 16, 2013 (UTC)

Probably is, but I don't have a bot right now. And don't know someone who does. It may or may not also require some human discretion, but meh. Either way, you should be eased to know that I am watching recent changes even as I spam. MolManL4brggr 16:01, March 16, 2013 (UTC)
It's not like I'm using the tool maliciously, so just loosen up. MolManL4brggr 17:02, March 16, 2013 (UTC)
Why make a big deal out of this?... But whatever... For the second edit it was certainly warranted; I had already warned the user that his edit was unhelpful and not too long after, he replicated the exact edit I had already removed. The first? Maybe it wasn't entirely necessary and perhaps I could have undone it, but I've come to the habit of rollbacking any 0 charm submissions. It's not because they're blatant vandalism, it's because they need no summary to explain that the submission was faulty and perfectly acceptable to remove. Not to mention the fact that this user didn't even use the submission box; he edited the the page directly - evident by the kills parameter being empty (which was just more reason that the revert needed no explanation). MolManL4brggr 17:10, March 16, 2013 (UTC)
You are seriously making a mountain out of this Mol hill. It's rather insulting that you think I am unable to discern between what is and what is not acceptable use of the tool. You are the first person to complain about my judgement and it's over something as minute as an inappropriate charm log update. Can you stop trying to incriminate me over such a silly disagreement? MolManL4brggr 17:24, March 16, 2013 (UTC)
And in doing so, you've followed that page as policy and blindly so. The page merely provides examples; it is not the law. After a reread of the page, I've only come to find that my understanding was correct: while it is "primarily used to revert obvious cases of vandalism" (exact quote), the page has a strong implication that the only difference between rollback and undo in terms of relevance of use is that rollback is when an edit does not absolutely require an edit summary. I never assumed mal-intent (my use of template:cl1 shows that I assumed it was a test) as I reverted his edits nor did I find it necessary to provide an edit summary. Yes, you could argue that I could have undone the edit with a summary of "empty submission", but the same logic could apply to reverting vandalism versus undoing it. I do not see my decision as inappropriate and I stand by my use of the rollback tool for this situation. MolManL4brggr 17:34, March 16, 2013 (UTC)
There's no need to worry; I assume good faith. But of course you should understand that it is a bit uneasy for someone when their assumptions are being questioned. Should you not? I'm glad you care, but I'd like you to understand that I never had any assumption that the IP in question was mala fide. MolManL4brggr 19:06, March 16, 2013 (UTC)
It was too far off the predicted average that we have for such a large number. It was either spam or included a large amount of bias; either way it wasn't an entry to keep. MolManL4brggr 18:50, March 17, 2013 (UTC)
I am leaning more towards it being bias. His gold charms were just way too low for it to be acceptable. MolManL4brggr 18:52, March 17, 2013 (UTC)
A discussion in the chat, yeah. Basically, it's wrong to refer to our God Wars as if they were the only ones. Besides, they weren't the biggest ones: no gods died and the entire dimension wasn't destroyed because Guthix stopped them semi-on time. Fswe1Lore project•Fun gallery My quests•Cutscenes 20:22, March 19, 2013 (UTC)
It's the average number of selections between 0 and 1 to add up to a number greater than x, which is relevant to RuneScape in that it shows (continuously) the number of hits it will take to kill a monster, where x would be lifepoints/max. It shows that the overkill loss (the part of the hit lost to nothingness because the monster is already almost dead) approaches 2/3 of your max. It's Cook's afterbirth day! 18:29, March 23, 2013 (UTC)

I'd be more than happy to help you out, but I'm afraid it'll have to be tomorrow. I'm really tired and need to be up early tomorrow, so I'll be heading to sleep in about a minute or two. Suppa chuppaTCCVRC 10:04, May 10, 2013 (UTC)
The header you added to the page (==trying something out==) is causing a syntax error. Removing that should fix the issue once your cache is updated. Suppa chuppaTCCVRC 21:21, May 10, 2013 (UTC)
