[edit] Animated images
- I too had come across your lovely animations on Wikipedia. Is the a place where I can find a trial version of the program?
- MasterglaserAlalalalala

- MasterglaserAlalalalala
- You can get them here: http://www.techsmith.com

- You can get them here: http://www.techsmith.com
- Alright, I've got the program, but can't make .gif's. Can you give me a quick pointer? masterGLASERAlalalaThat's "Glosser."
- You have to record a video clip of the scene first using Camtasia Recorder.
- Afterwards, you import that video clip (File -> Import Media) into Camtasia Studio, drag it onto the timeline at the bottom, and go to File -> Produce Video As...
- On the Production Wizard, click "Show more file formats..." if it hasn't been clicked already, and pick GIF animation file. Then keep on clicking "Next" and then "Finish".
- That's the basics of making a .gif animation file out of a video ignoring any editing. That should give you a start and the rest should be figurable.

- Thank you very much. In case you haven't seen it, I uploaded my first image (see Phoenix crossbow and my signature). In wikis, how do you write a link to an image, while not showing the actual image? I used to know, but have since forgotten. masterGLASERAlalalaThat's "Glosser."
- In order to link to an image, you just add a colon before the name of the image inside the link, like so:
- [[:Image:Imagename.gif]]
- So if I type [[:Image:Bowman hat.png|Link to this picture]], it will yield this:
- Link to this picture
- Hope that helps.

[edit] RE:Gunnery
Glad to see that someone sees it the same way. :) Did you know that there were guns in the 12th century in Europe? And since RuneScape looks most like Europe than any other continent, and the technologies seem to point to the middle ages (not including runes), there should be some sort of gunpowder powered weapon that shoots things (AKA: guns!).

[edit] Signature
As Dreadnought said to Gangsterls today, you are only allowed to have 2 images in your signature. I would advize you pick some other images as 5 or six of the same thing in a row can be rather irritating. Remember, take time on your sig. Your signature represents you. Anyways, cheers! Ilyas

- I have only two images in my signature, the toy horseys are not separated in the image file...
- Thank you for your concern, anyhow...

- Ah... I missed that. Anyways, a few pointers...
- Don't indent every line. If you really want to, use the paragraph tags. Also, don't post on both talk pages. You need only to post on the other person's.

[edit] Your sig
Currently, your signature has more than 2 pictures. As per RuneScape:Signatures, signatures should only contain a maximum of 2 pictures. Please downsize your signature. Images are not allowed in Signatures on Wikipedia because they are an unnecessary drain on server resources, and could cause server slowdown. For this same reason, image use must be limited on wikia. Thank you for your cooperation. ChristineTalk 18:47, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
Actually, he only has 2. The horseys are one picture.

[edit] Goothan.gif
Thanks for reverting to the old one. I uplodaed the one I tried to crop, but I didn't veiw it until now and found I was unsuccessful.
masterGLASERAlalalaThat's "Glosser."
- Sure. I would probably end up cropping that image once I get a decent image cropper. I need one for my next set of animations anyways.

[edit] Yew Ent Animation
Although it is highly unlikely you remember, do you recall where you took the video for your Yew Ent animation? I am working on a video project, and wanted to use that yew and then show your ent. And yes, I always credit you to your animations. masterGLASERAlalalaThat's "Glosser."
- Sure; it's no problem. Do note that Yew Ent animation still have the macroers in the background though, and I didn't get the program to crop them yet, if it would interfere.
Tarikochi 15:55, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
- No interference, but do you recall that particular yew tree's location? masterGLASERAlalalaThat's "Glosser."
[edit] User Page / IP Edits
I've seen what you wrote in Chia's Talk, if Christine has reverted your edit beacause you were editing as an IP, revert again, its just fair.

[edit] RE:IP edits
Sorry, I cannot link you to any guideline of that sort. =/ The reason your edit to your userpage you made when not logged in was reverted is that it would look like a random person changed something on your userpage, which is a vandalization. If you say something like "too lazy to log in" in your summary, that should decrease your chance of being reverted on your own page when not logged in.

[edit] RE: "The Riddle" and Hypercam2
When I made that video I used 10 frames per second, a capture ratio of 1:1 (if I know what you are talking about), a key frame every 3 seconds, and I don't know about compression. But now, which works much MUCH better, I have it set to 16 frames per second, dunno' about ratio, key frame every 1/16 seconds, and still dunno' about compression. Hope I'm being of help. Having every frame be a key frame increases footage quality BY A LOT!

[edit] Animation in signature
Hello. It appears that your signature contains an animated image. Recently there has been a discussion which resulted in a new rule; Signatures must not have animations in them. Please replace the animation in your signature to fit in with the current rules. Feel free to ask any question on my talk page. Thanks in advance.
