[edit] Your edits to RuneScape:Requests for adminship/Chiafriend12

Concerning these edits:

1. We keep all of the RFA archives available on the RuneScape Wiki. I've protected it from editing to prevent voting, but that doesn't mean that users shouldn't be allowed to read it.

2. Check your math. I count 9 opposes and only 15 supports. That's more than one third opposing. Most of the opposers have legitimate arguments that the supporters haven't bothered to address while the support votes largely consist of "He's a good friend" or "He deserves it" (why?). I would not consider that a general agreement. Remember that it is not only based on the numbers. If there is no consensus, we default to the status quo.

3. RFAs on the RuneScape Wiki last for two weeks by default. By then, it should be possible to determine whether or not there is a consensus. The outcome of an RFA is decided by a bureaucrat. Bureaucrats have been recognized by the community to be capable of carrying out the community's decision. If you would like to question the closing bureaucrat's actions, use the talk page. However, I would not suggest that you attempt this. A community consensus is very unlikely at this point in time.

4. The criteria listed on the requests for adminship page is a very brief guide meant for people who are considering nominating someone to become a sysop. The criteria that the community members use varies based on the individual. In addition, the standards are a lot higher for bureaucratship. Bureaucrats have the ability to make changes that are irreversible to other local editors, including other bureaucrats.

Please bear this in mind before you continue discussing this issue. Dtm142 02:11, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] RE: Image

Where is it? Christine 00:01, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Yes, but he used photobucket to host it, not the wiki. Christine 00:28, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
