Hello, Juliusc01, and welcome to the RuneScape Wiki!
Thank you for your past contributions and taking an interest in our wiki. If you have any trouble or need help, feel free to ask questions on my talk page or any other editor's talk page. Also, you could look at a help page or you could shout out on the local forums. We hope you like it here and decide to stay!
Here are a few pages to help out new editors such as yourself:
Please sign your name on talk pages by using four tildes (~~~~) or use the "sign" button () above the edit box. This will automatically produce your name and the date. Signing your comments is important, as it lets other editors know who has posted which comments.

No problem Juliusc, I hope to see much more of you around here over the next few months! And remember, if you have any questions, just leave a note on my talk page. Thanks! =) CFLMTalk # Sign 09:26, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
Hi Juliusc, these are commonly referred to as 'userboxes', and you can find many of them here. I prefer to make my own since it's much more fun and you can personalise them quite a bit with your favourite colours and pictures. If you want to, here is the markup for a personal one:
{{userbox
|border-c=THE COLOUR YOU WANT FOR THE BORDER
|border-s=THE WIDTH OF THE BORDER
|id-c=THE BACKGROUND COLOUR FOR THE ID (LEFT CELL)
|id-s=SIZE OF THE ID TEXT (DON'T WORRY ABOUT THIS IF YOU ARE USING A PICTURE)
|id-fc=FONT COLOUR OF THE ID (AGAIN, DON'T WORRY ABOUT THIS IF YOU ARE USING A PICTURE)
|info-c=BACKGROUND COLOUR FOR THE INFO (RIGHT) CELL
|info-s=TEXT SIZE FOR THE INFO CELL
|info-fc=FONT COLOUR FOR THE INFO
|id=WHAT IS GOING TO BE IN THE ID CELL (EITHER A PICTURE OR TEXT)
|info=WHAT IS GOING TO BE IN THE INFO CELL (AGAIN, EITHER A PICTURE OR TEXT)
}}
The values for border-c, id-c, id-fc, info-c and info-fc can either be regular colour names (which can be found here) or html colour codes (see here).
For example, if the markup is:
{{userbox
|border-c=black
|border-s=2
|id-c=firebrick
|id-s=8
|id-fc=#000000
|info-c=black
|info-s=9
|info-fc=firebrick
|id=[[Image:Helm of neitiznot (charged).png]]
|info=<b><center>I play RuneScape as {{hs|Chrisso125}}.</center></b>
}}
We have a policy of not editing userpages. I noticed you have been adding content to this user's userpage. Please refrain form adding content to other users' pages, as they might not want what you added on it. 20:48, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
No worries, just please understand why we have this policy. Happy editing. =D 20:52, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

Others asked me this before, so I'll just post what I had replied:
Firstly, you need some capital. 1 mil should be enough. You earn bigger profits with more cash of course.
Items that you should merchant are:
Items that are popularly traded. See the GE database, it shows the "Most Traded" items there.
Items that are worth at least 100 gp. Why? For example, maple logs are worth 36-38gp but are one of the most traded items. With the buy and sell of limit of 25,000 (for ores, logs) you won't earn much. You might buy 25000 for 36 gp each and sell for 38 gp each. You earn 50k, not much (in my standards).
Not rares. Self-explanatory, the prices of rares are quite unstable, you lose money easily.
Oh and if the price of an item is rising, don't jump in and buy as many of that item immediately, it might just drop the next day. Always buy low, never buy high (except for some cases like newly released items like d claws). Of course, as expected the d claws is now starting to drop.
Also, if you want to play it safe, don't just merchant 1 item, merchant a few. If the price of 1 item crashes, at least you won't lose all your money. If you have anymore questions, feel free to ask. C.ChiamTalk 05:11, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
Even though your account is fairly new, you have done a good job so far with (undo). You now have the ability to use [rollback]. Please only use it for obvious vandalism; good faith edits deserve an edit reason. LaserDragon 21:45, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
Hello, I have archived your request on the Requested signature page as it has been completed. If you have not checked it can be found here, if you are unsatisfied with the result feel free to put it back on it's main page. †Blade#† 19:40, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, it seems to be finding its way around the internet and people seem to be finding the source. It's humbling, to say the least! =) 23:49, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
Lol, thanks. I'm not actually talking to myself; those little comments you see are from an imaginary person looking at my userpage. :) Tien 18:25, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
Just a quick note, it is generally discouraged to add the "{{transparent}}" tag to image files that are in JPEG format. If you add a transparency to an image that is a JPEG, there will still be compression artefacts in it, so it is advised just to add transparency tags to PNG images. Hello Juliusc01, this is a reminder to turn in your comic by April 1st. Remember, your comic must be:
Related RuneScape
With no incorrectly spelled words
PG Rated
And the speech you your comic should be:
correctly capitalized
correctly puncuated
correctly grammeratized
Written in British spellings and measurmeants (E.g., color → colour, lbs. → kg.)
Remember, don't sign your comic, credit is already given on the main comic page. Also, if you would like, you can also write an Editorial or Interview, and post those on the appropriate page. Please upload your comic to Photobucket or Imageshack, and not the RuneScape Wiki. When you are finished with your comic, please put it on this page. When you edit the page, you will see a hidden message that is the tutorial on how to add your article. Thanks! --~ Sentry TelosTalk 02:30, 28 March 2009 (UTC) (on behalf of — Enigma)
Oh, OK. Sorry, I was just doing a favour for Enigma by adding the above message to everyone who'd signed up for the RSWNP. Thanks, ~ Sentry TelosTalk 19:38, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Umm, no problem? I'm confused. :P ~ Sentry TelosTalk 19:47, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Oh, I see. You forgot about it, my message reminded you and you were telling me you've finished it now. :D ~ Sentry TelosTalk 19:56, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Those guys alternated, so reverting the edit by one user still left us with 'CRAP CRAP', etc.
The bit about Mildred was a quote from Blackadder the Third. WWTDD? 23:14, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
Copy-and-paste is your friend. ;) WWTDD? 23:18, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
Please only report obvious vandalism to the CVU. A lot of the vandalism you've been reporting lately is either good faith edits or so minor that a block would not be necessary. Remember to assume good faith. Thanks. Andrewtalk 18:32, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
This is not obvious vandalism. All they did was remove a couple lines of text. It could have easily been a mistake, or perhaps they were new to the wiki and didn't realize what they were removing. All you needed to do there was to give them a gentle reminder on their talk page. Andrewtalk 18:36, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
Fancy to see you here. This is Crycket from in-game, never thought I'd run into a friend on here :O Take Care and Happy Easter.

They have a pretty good thing going here, I've been using the site for some time, just never edited. Then I set up an account and I've tried to get in some edits here and there, usually when new content comes out, though I'm still not good at this editing stuff. I am learning and open to learning, though.
My fault, didn't mean to forget to answer your questions lol. I forgot what one of those questions was, but I remember the boss one. I like to GWD about whenever I can, occasionally KBD or KQ. Never been to Dag Kings, so I don't know if I like them or not obviously. Also, when Corporeal Beast and Tormented Demons came out, I was there often but haven't been there in a long while. I will see if I can come to your quest cape party (congratulations, by the way!), but I will probably be at church around that time. I do however hope you have fun. Caesermenace

It was true though. In the end the word started sounding so weird that I left a page open with the word January on it so i could make sure i was actually spelling January. I might wait a while before I do February. Evil Yanks talk 23:35, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
I would but the left ctrl key is broken on my keyboard after i spilt water on it. I tried it a few times but i found typing it was better since i didn't have to think as much. Evil Yanks talk 23:40, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
Indeed, and I agree - though a quick look through the rules and I didn't find anything about it (though its late and I'm tired). I was just going to undo with a message to take it to the talk page/YG (where it would probably get shot down for the same reasons, but still). GazLloydAwesomeEvents!99s 22:40, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, thats what I meant - I check jagex's rules and none of them said anything about free membership =/ (correct me if I'm wrong). Agreed, external links left by IPs/new accounts to anything but runescape.com or jagex.com (etc) tend to be bad news. (P.S. if I didn't make it clear, I'm not disagreeing with your rollback, just as a personal choice I would've undone.) GazLloydAwesomeEvents!99s 22:55, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
So long as it looks like vandalism or is vandalism in your opinion, then rollback. If you change your mind but its already done, then just put a note on the talk page explaining that. No biggie. GazLloydAwesomeEvents!99s 23:05, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
yes i know, can only do so much with the image, converting it to png will still not be as good as original image in png format will be fine untill i finish quest and make new images

Anyway, Rock lobsters are dangerous critters because they hit fairly high and as fast as darts, like Commander Zilyana's melee attack. Protect from Melee is a MUST when fighting Rock lobsters, and should be activated at all times when you're trying to lure the lobsters. If not, then you will die in literally a few seconds, as I have learned from experience... luckily I had a ring of life. Unless you are very confident about staying alive, I highly recommend wearing a ring of life.
If you don't know where the lobsters are, check the Waterbirth Island article. It has a chart of the different sublevels and rooms in the dungeon. It's hard to explain their exact location, so that's the best I can do for you.
I'm guessing you know the inventory and equipment setup for "Rock lobstering" (it's on the article), so on to safespotting. There are two safespots: one that can trap 7 lobsters and another that traps 9 lobsters. Obviously using the "9-spot" will net you more charms, but it is more dangerous because if you happen to kill a lobster earlier than the rest, it may respawn near you and attack you. Also, the Dagannoths and Wallasalki can attack you in the 9-spot. That's why I prefer using the "7-spot" because it is safer and away from the other creatures in the room.
The moment you go inti the room with the Rock lobsters, a spawn near the ladder will probably start attacking you (Protect from Melee before going down the ladder would be a good idea. The "7-spot" is just west of the ladder, just south of the group of stalagmites near the wall. Luckily I have a picture of this safespot:
You can stand where I am, or move ONE square east. As you can see, the lobster is trapped on the southeast corner of the stalgmites. Going anywhere else will either cause the lobsters to attack you, or untrap the lobsters and cause them to attack you (same thing really :P). If you fail to trap the lobsters the first time, simply run up the east side of the stalagmites, and then run back to the safespot.
When luring the lobsters, you want Protect from Melee activated. Run east, turn the corner, and follow the path southwest (you can see it in the screenshot on the minimap), but don't go too far! Stop about halfway; there are Wallasalki and Dagannoths further down. Once you "wake up" the lobsters, run all the way back to the safespot. You should have seven lobsters trapped at the southeastern corner of the stalagmites. If you don't, then either you missed one while running back or you didn't go far enough down the southwestern path.
Wallasalkis won't follow you all the way to the safespot, but Dagannoths will. Fortunately, there is a way to trap the Dagannoths and prevent them from following you. In the path that leads southwest, there is a torchstick on the eastern wall. Run behind the torch to trap the Daggies. The Rock lobsters won't get trapped (they're smart), so run back to the safespot.
I'll stop here, as this is getting rather long. :P If you have any further questions, such as information about the "9-spot," feel free to ask! Tien 20:30, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
