Max Guild artEdit

I gave your image a better name and put it on a more appropriate page. Divination-icon AnselaJonla Daily Challenge map icon 10:45, May 27, 2014 (UTC)

Since you need it explaining to you. 1) Concept art images must have concept art in their name. As there already existed a file with that name, I added "closeup" to distinguish your one from the other. 2) MaxGuild is not the name of the place, therefore I added a space to it, to make it accurate. 3) I put it on the Max Guild page, which is a more appropriate place for it than Prifddinas. Divination-icon AnselaJonla Daily Challenge map icon 10:50, May 27, 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for the link to attribute it to though. You seem to have forgotten that part of concept art uploads. Divination-icon AnselaJonla Daily Challenge map icon 10:51, May 27, 2014 (UTC)
"Concept art images must have concept art in their name.". That is why I did not just call it "Max Guild". Divination-icon AnselaJonla Daily Challenge map icon 11:05, May 27, 2014 (UTC)

Edit discrepancyEdit

Hi Italay90,

I'd just like to ask all parties involved (as done in Chat with the other party) to not continually revert an article over any issue. I'd also like to request that future discrepancies for discussion be of a civil manner. There are going to be varying views on what should be in any given article, so if needed, just leave a message on any of the active administrator talk pages should help be wanted. Thanks, Ryan PM 11:07, May 27, 2014 (UTC)

Seren and MahEdit

I was trying to avoid using an almost direct quote, hence my rephrasing of that. Divination-icon AnselaJonla Daily Challenge map icon 12:00, May 27, 2014 (UTC)

MEP3Edit

Please don't move pages by copying the content to one page and then redirecting the other. If you need a page moved, ask an admin to do it. MolManApplesCooking apple 13:15, May 28, 2014 (UTC)

That's not what I said. I said don't just move content by copy pasting. If you can't move a page, ask someone who can. MolManApplesCooking apple 13:17, May 28, 2014 (UTC)
Blanking one page and putting its content on another page is not moving it. MolManApplesCooking apple 13:21, May 28, 2014 (UTC)
To clarify, moving a page means clicking on the down arrow next to the edit button. selecting move and filling in the form with the desired name and pressing "Move" on there. If there is already a page in the desired name, for whatever reason, you then need to ask a sysop for help. Divination-icon AnselaJonla Daily Challenge map icon 14:21, May 28, 2014 (UTC)

Re:Seren statueEdit

No, it's utterly irrelevant. A statue of Glarial has nothing to do with Seren, for the same reason we have no information on Juna's statue on Guthix's article. And a page lacking information is never a reas to add random stuff that is not relevant. 18px-Avatar.png Fswe1 Lore project

DwarvesEdit

Dwarves is the appropriate title. Especially in this case, where something in game has the exact name. There is absolutely nothing in the style guide about this; I'm not sure what policy you are trying to quote. The page should not be moved. MolManApplesCooking apple 11:35, May 29, 2014 (UTC)

What...? There* being a monster in game called Dwarf is exactly why there should be no page move. There is no exact monster called Elf or Human, which is why they have that title. You're also quoting a made up policy. Absolutely nothing is in the style guide about plural page name titles, only implicitly by saying articles should be titled exactly as they appear in game. By requesting this move, you are actually going against the style guide, in asking an un-conflicted and correct title to be moved to a title that requires a parenthetical. MolManApplesCooking apple 11:43, May 29, 2014 (UTC)
Dwarves is not about any entity in game, so there is guideline on what to name it. It is a class name for a page of our own discretion. In any case, if you want to follow current unwritten convention, you should leave Dwarf where it is and move the page about the race to Dwarf (race). MolManApplesCooking apple 11:57, May 29, 2014 (UTC)
RS:SG. Dwarves is not about an in game entity; it is about a class of in game entities. You gave one example where the race page takes the title of an in game name. Human and Elf do not exist in game named exactly as such. Gnome, frankly, is incorrect. If something has a name in game, it should get that exact title on the wiki, unless something else in game conflicts with that. MolManApplesCooking apple 12:03, May 29, 2014 (UTC)
You can't argue consistency when there are examples on both sides: Ogres and Penguin (race). I believe what I've proposed is fair and reasonable. If people are looking for the page about dwarves as a race, there is the otheruses template. MolManApplesCooking apple 12:07, May 29, 2014 (UTC)
You can move the former 2, as the target title does not yet exist. Just be sure to change any and all double redirects. Special:WhatLinksHere/Dwarves and click the hide links button so that only redirects are shown. MolManApplesCooking apple 12:09, May 29, 2014 (UTC)

Duplicate image uploadsEdit

May I ask that you check to see if the image that you are uploading doesn't already exist on the wiki before uploading, as your most recent upload was a duplicate image of File:Elf worker concept.png. Abyssal whip TonyBest100 Bandos chestplate 13:05, May 29, 2014 (UTC)

Dark LordEdit

Either provide some actual evidence that the picture is of the Dark Lord or it will be removed, there's nothing to suggest that it is the Dark Lord, and we shouldn't put a picture of something on the article because it "might" be the dark lord. CroppingEdit

There was nothing wrong with Ben's cropping. It is better to leave a small margin around untransed images, and removing this working area just looks petty, especially when the {{working on trans}} tag is on the image. In future, please do not "crop" images unless they actually need it. Divination-icon AnselaJonla Daily Challenge map icon 12:22, June 2, 2014 (UTC)

I'd like to get in this bit, the removal of non-RS items is fine (like the browser UI), however please be less abrasive with upload comments and leave a few pixels outside of a character to fine tune with. There's nothing wrong with a bit of leeway. Cheers, Ryan PM 12:48, June 2, 2014 (UTC)

Concept artEdit

Before uploading any images from the design documents, please check the transcript to get the name of the existing image. Divination-icon AnselaJonla Daily Challenge map icon 16:48, June 2, 2014 (UTC)

RE:GodlessnessEdit

Hey,

The page is meant to be about the Godless as a group, not of groups who share similar ideologies but who are not godless, therefore it is not relevant. What's more, I don't see any ambiguity in the beliefs of the Godless - they seek to see no god win by actively opposing them all, in much the same way every other faction seeks to see their god win. That is hardly the same as those who do not follow any of the gods Ring of kinship Ciphrius Kane Dungeoneering cape (t) 15:31, June 6, 2014 (UTC)

Sharing the view is not the same as being with them. I agree with the argument of chaos but I'm not Zamorakian. They have not declared themselves godless as you say, which is why to put them on the article would be wrong and speculative. I'll repeat again: the page is about the organisation who seek to oppose the gods in all their forms, not those who seek to hide from the gods or simply not seek to worship them. To say not worshipping a god is the same as opposing them is not right Ring of kinship Ciphrius Kane Dungeoneering cape (t) 15:52, June 6, 2014 (UTC)

Small errorEdit

Hey, I noticed that sometimes your edits leave a few random letters above the infobox on the page you're editing, like here for example. I'm not sure what causes this, but as it only seems to happen with your edits I can only assume that it is due to something you are doing, rather than an error in the visual editor. Could you please be more careful in order to avoid things like this in the future. Divination-icon AnselaJonla Daily Challenge map icon 17:14, June 10, 2014 (UTC)

Using an anagram to call someone a "Nosy nigga" annoying is not acceptable. We all know clear well what you're doing, and it's not a stretch to call this a breach of RS:GTS. Ansela is trying her best to handle things with you calmly, and it's no help for you to "cleverly" insult her. MolManApplesCooking apple 17:53, June 10, 2014 (UTC)
I apologize for my mistake in my anagramming skills. While less egregious, it's still not acceptable. The rest of what I said still stands. MolManApplesCooking apple 18:14, June 10, 2014 (UTC)

Your Recent file uploadEdit

Just a heads up to let you know that there is no need to have every word in a file name start with a capital letter. The only thing that needed a capital letter in that last upload was the word Prifddinas. Abyssal whip TonyBest100 Bandos chestplate 15:55, June 27, 2014 (UTC)

If you don't want your files moving after upload, try getting the names right first time. Divination-icon AnselaJonla Daily Challenge map icon 16:00, June 27, 2014 (UTC)

Re:ElvesEdit

How is information's being located on a different article a valid reason to remove it on the first article? But that aside, there is little to no correlation between the Abilities section and the information on the Elven Clans article. The former only mentioned that each clan has a specialisation, but the other stuff, such as the elves' agility and grace or Baxtorian's knowledge of rune lore, isn't found anywhere else. 18px-Avatar.png Fswe1 Lore project

Re:SerenEdit

The infobox was getting huge and some were synonymous anyway. I think these two are the most important ones; having half a dozen of them in the infobox is just silly. Feel free to mention them in prose in the article though, but two for the infobox is more than enough. 18px-Avatar.png Fswe1 Lore project

Trim 'em down then. Besides, lots of references in one tiny space looks very ugly and cluttery. It's better to give them some proper phrasing in the article itself rather than cram them together with no explanation in an infobox. 18px-Avatar.png Fswe1 Lore project

"Pointless edit"Edit

The pointless edit in this case was your change to the unnecessary [[wikipedia:Great Britain|Great Britain]] style of coding wikipedia links, when the {{wp|Great Britain}} format is quicker, easier, and perfectly suitable.

Also, if your only reason to come into chat is to moan about someone in there and flee before they can respond, why don't you consider staying out and keeping your unnecessary comments to yourself? Divination-icon AnselaJonla Daily Challenge map icon 11:09, August 24, 2014 (UTC)

Huh?Edit

Despite this, the enmity between Seren and Zamorak is by far the strongest. After betraying Zaros, who Seren thought was dead, she actively turned against Zaros who she perceived to be a danger to Gielinor, yet, she placed more importance in her promise to Guthix - which was that she should not involve herself in the wars of other gods. According to the fragment of Seren, Seren may have risen against him - yet this is unclear.

Seren

Erm, I think I understand what you're trying to say, but it's not really very clear, you seem to have some names mixed up, and maybe you should try to rewrite that bit? Divination-icon AnselaJonla Daily Challenge map icon 17:38, September 26, 2014 (UTC)
