[edit] janitor's crown
I like the picture for the janitors crown. I think you need to change the 'M' to a 'J'. I think it is a good idea for the wiki janitors to have crowns. Good work! Spencer (Talk | Edits | Contribs) 17:45, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- Hey, I made an update on the janitor's crown. I haven't told anyone because I want you to take the credit for it. I removed the black background and colored in a dark purple for the shadow. I'll send it to you so that you can look at it and to see if you like it. I'll send a pic soon.

[edit] Subpage
Simply make a link to the page as you would for any other and create the new page.
Ex.[[User:Islwyn/Subpage]] will give you a redlink, simplycreate the page and that should work for you.-- 16:33, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[edit] Re Transparency
It simply means that they removed the back ground, ex. remove the image of a a wall from a picture of a guard so that only the guard is visible.-- 01:43, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[edit] Eastern Sea

[edit] Images
Well, you're not allowed to upload personal pictures on the wiki, see the upload page. I put up pictures of myself by either using them on other mainspace articles, or hosting them on Photobucket or ImageShack. Then, to put them on your userpage, just copy the image's URL. [edit] Re:Tips please!
Heya! Personally, I removed and re-build larders for pretty much my entire construction career. It was very expensive to get to 69, as I used a demon butler to do pretty much everything for me. But as far as I can remember, larders are the fastest xp as you can do 3 per load of logs. If you have the cash, using your butler to run to the mill is fast, as he can unnote and make planks, or at least he used to. It was about two years ago when I got it to 69, haven't touched it since. It's a money dump skill, so expect to spend a lot. If you have time to kill, run the planks to the sawmill yourself to save hundreds of thousands later on. Feel free to add me in game »Sue Loves Me« and chat!

[edit] Which one is the best?
What godsword is the best? I was talking with Stinkowing about it and we don't know. I chose you because you do a lot of God Wars Dungeon. P.S. Whenever I download the free trial for Camtasia Studios and look in programs, I don't see it.- Islwyn Talk
- I'm not a Meleer, but the best Godsword would most likely be depending on the scenario, such as the Saradomin Godsword is great for training Melee for its ability to heal you when damaged and the Zamorak Godsword is great for minigames such as Castle Wars for its ability to stop other players from moving in dire situations.
- And Camtasia Studio goes under the name "Camtasia Studio 3" on your Programs List. Try right-clicking and "Sort by Name".

Certainly, though most people just refer to me as "Sue". May call me Mike if you wish to refer to me by my name. =D
[edit] Usuario:Islwyn
Why do you have [[es:Usuario:Islwyn]] on your user page? It makes an other languages link to your Spanish user page, which doesn't exist. C Teng talk 14:21, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Re:Partyhat People
I know no others on the wiki who have bought a party hat. I know of only one that has been sold in a long time on the GE. Only other person that I personally know that has (had) a party hat was a friend I used to work with by the name of Sharkcruiser. He had 6 or 7, but he had been playing since RSC, and traded something like like 10k for each color. He has since quit when I pulled him over to WoW.

[edit] re:money makin
Money Making ways include mining, wc, farming, and slayer (personally, i used wc and mining, since im non mem). If u are a mem u shoud train on experiments and rock crabs for best xp, if ur not, best exp would be moss/hill giants. For best money i suggest cockroaches or dragons.

[edit] Re: Prayer tips?
I did my prayer on my gilded alter. I usually had a small party to avoid the load time of the house each time. Although the fastest, the ectofuntus does give more xp per bone. I also believe Jagex added the grind-X bones option since I did prayer, so makes ectofuntus easier to do than it used to be.
I would suggest you consider getting your agility up to 58 (only 6 more levels) so that you can use the shortcuts to the pool at the bottom.
Also, using deuling rings to teleport to bank (at castle wars) or amulets of glory (edgeville) and the ectovial to teleport too works well and is faster than using local bank.

[edit] Re: Money Making
Looking at your stats, I would probably do ranarr seed farming. The seeds are currently about 41,074 gp each, and if you use Magic secateurs and Supercompost, you will get an average yield of 6 herbs per patch (counting the occasional deaths from disease as 0).
Each ranarr herb sells for about 11,000 gp each. This gives an average profit of around 124,630 gp per visit to all five allotment patches. All you need to do is teleport to your allotment patches every 2 hours (to give time for the herbs to grow) to pick the herbs and plant the next seed.
Whenever you get low on supercompost, just make more at one of the bins when doing the farming (I tended to use the catheby one myself because it was close to the bank).
If you got your herblore up to 38, then you might want to make the ranarr herbs into prayer potions and sell them instead. Although your profit will drop to around 65,920 gp per visit to all five allotment patches, you will gain herblore experience, and the prayer potions will probably sell quicker too.
I used farming ranarrs as a steady form of income (getting about 10m a month) for about ten months, and only stopped once my runecrafting reached 91, so I could use double nat crafting as a form of income. By that time my farming and herblore were 70+ too.

[edit] Re: 99 Herblore cost
As I mentioned, I did my herblore before the GE came out. I did mine mainly by making range potions (for fast experience). Looking at the Calculators/Potions page, it looks like you could actually make a profit getting 99 herblore if you make Super restore potions from level 63 up. At 82 herblore you can also make Super strong weapon poisons for more profit, but you have to collect your own nightshades. I collected nightshades from under the ogre city and high alched while waiting for the spawn.
Hope that helps.

[edit] Re: What does your character look like without armour on?
When I'm not wearing armour, I had a red top, red trousers and brown spikey hair. However, for the next few months while I'm doing slayer I'll probably be wearing armour most of the time.

[edit] Transparancy
Paint wont cut the mustard I'm afraid. I use Paint Shop Pro to do transparencies, which is commercial software, but I'm sure there is free software out there somewhere. Only PNG and GIF support transparancy. Hurston 17:16, 15 August 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Attack and Defence
The rock crabs are good to train on because they have high HP (what gives the xp) but low defence (so you don't miss much).
The only other place I've trained combat stats at is the bandit camp in the desert. If I remember correct (a while since I've done it), the bandits auto-attack if you are wearing a god item (such as god cape).
Some people go there wearing guthans and god capes and just sit and watch as the they get trained automatically. Just need to move the mouse every now and then to keep the connection alive.
Without god items (e.g. god capes), I would guess that the rock crabs are still the best.

[edit] Re: What skillcape?
The choice of what skill cape depends on what you are interested in. If you can affort it, then cooking can be easy. Fletching can also be fairly easy and makes some money if buying yew logs and bow strings, making yew longs and high alching (also gives magic experience too).
If you want something that is a bit less common (but also fairly quick to level up) then you could try thieving. This gets fast when blackjacking Menaphite thugs.
