Re:Ancient effigies Edit
The D&D was called like that in the update, the BTS and the Knowledge Base. The rock-like things you get are called Ancient effigies (making effigy in singular). So the name of the D&D is simply the rocks in plural form. That article is about the D&D and not a rock in particular and should be Ancient Effigies, as that is the official title.

Redirect Edit
On the Cooking page, I changed a link from Activity to Activities. If you click on both links, you'll notice that the first one will take you to the page Activities, but there will be a note saying that you were redirected from the "Activity." You generally don't want pages in the mainspace to have redirects, it makes it easier to have each link go directly to the page intended. If you look at the code, I changed the link to "Activity" to "Activities" to avoid such a redirect. I hope this makes things clearer. Suppa chuppa T C CVRC 01:16, June 23, 2010 (UTC)

Argh...I had them all ready to upload and realized that you beat me by a day. - Yes they are tagged as needing transparency, and so someone will add transparency sometime. It is best that images needing transparency are added to an article, instead of waiting for transparency before adding. I've taken it upon myself to redo the Cooking page, since it is (or was) the second largest article on the wiki. Are you planning on doing something with the Brewing section? If so, that would actually be rather nice since I've never brewed even a pint of any drink in RS. Glitch imagesEdit
There was consensus to remove most of the images on that page and then delete it. Because of this, we don't need an individual RFD for each. That would take an incredible amount of time. Furthermore, removing the image from the page is all one needs to do. The images will appear on the Special:UnusedFiles list either way, which are always deleted.

- It's more work because even debating the fate of a fraction of the images on that page would result in tons of discussion. So much discussion that I'm getting a headache from thinking about it. Gif tags Edit

- First, converting an existing image into a different format does nothing to solve the quality issues that its current format has. You have to re-capture the image and save it directly into the new format. Whether or not there are substantial issues with the inventory images being .gifs is not something I'm qualified to judge, but I'm going to assume that we have the .png-only policy for a reason. Second, as Urbancowgurl said, all these .gifs are going to have to be replaced with .png versions, and I'm told that there are, like, ninety images to replace. I was discussing it in the irc and I was thinking Varrock Teleport (tablet) and coolnesse suggested Varrock Teleport (item), but then Joey said that in-game that is their actual name, so I decided that was probably best. I wouldn't be opposed to changing it to either of the options I said earlier, but as that is their in-game name they should stay unless something is worked at.

Your edit doesn't make the script work. The problem is that the template doesn't calculate the different amounts of xp for the different amounts of lp, so there can't be a script for monsters with multiple amounts of LP. Hi, if it's not to much to ask, could you please upload images with the file extensions in lowercase? (that is, *.png instead of *.PNG) It would save a LOT of moving files around in the future. While uppercase is not prohibited, lowercase is recommended by the image policy. When typing out an article freehand, if you know the image should be named "varrock dot png", you'd instinctively type sentence case, but if the extension of the file is actually in uppercase, you'll just get a red link and have to go scavenging off to find what the name of the file is (which takes a long time when adding in a lot of images). Such uniform brightness changes are usually caused by the removal of gamma correction and ICC color profile data in PNG images. RuneScape has loads of brightness settings anyway, which makes the image simply go down a notch in the brightness setting.
