Hi, I'm guessing you already know this, but: When using formatting, remember to equalise all code with </font>or </span> This means you won't have the colours following everything else below. I know that It looks really good from the top of your page, but be careful with the signature coding, make sure its equalised. btw, I like your page, and when You've finished the rsmv, can I watch it? Hey, nice signatures! I just thought I'd let you know that, unfortunately, W3C has deprecated the <font> and <b> tags. Your best option is probably to stick with a <span> and use CSS to set the font and such. For example:

<span style="font-family: 'arial', 'sans-serif'; color: #f00; font-weight: bold;">This font will appear in Arial if the browser supports the font. Otherwise, the text will appear in the browser's default sans-serif font. The color will be red, and the text will appear bolded.</span>

Actually, this has already been in place for quite a while. What it means is that <font> and <u> basically no longer exist. Here's a list of all tags deprecated in the transition from HTML 4 to HTML 5:

• basefont
• big
• center
• font
• s
• strike
• tt
• u

Err... I confused <u> with <b> in my previous message. The b tag is bound to be deprecated shortly, if it isn't already, so I'd just switch to CSS for all formatting. To underline text with CSS, use text-decoration: underline.

Someone is harassing me, including some recent vandalism on my user page, and all my information needs to be off the internet for my protection. Plus there is a page about discussions, and it says outdated talk pages can be removed. There is no discussions on my talk page. It is ok to delete. Reporting vandalism

A few minutes ago, you reported these two IP addresses

• 70.188.112.188 (talk • contribs • deleted contribs • abuse log • block log • block)
• 219.89.182.90 (talk • contribs • deleted contribs • abuse log • block log • block)

None of their edits were vandalism, as far as I could see. Please see RS:AGF and the RS:CVU to understand what constitutes vandalism and what should not be reported. I understand that you were probably just trying to help. That's all, thanks. C.Chiam^Talk 08:25, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

.......Umm, have you read the Assume Good Faith policy yet? Quoting one part: "When you see an unregistered user make an edit that you think may not be up to standards or is a stub, don't criticize them on it or delete what they put. You must assume that the edits were made in good faith. Think about what the editor's intentions were before judging them." Quoting a section from the CVU page: "Incorrect information is being added to an article when the contributor is not aware of them being incorrect."

For the IP starting with 70, his edits actually made the article neater, but he wasn't aware of the "Don't link more than once" rule and that making everything uppercase might create redlinks. That would have been a very good cleanup edit if he was aware of these, but anyway his intentions were good.

For the IP starting with 219, his edits was not nonsense. As the AGF policy says, think about what the editor's intentions were before judging them. He probably got the wrong idea that broken pickaxes would become discontinued and thus saw it fit to be mentioned in the article. That edit should have been undone as it is inaccurate, but his intentions again were good.

Not trying to be condescending or anything, just hope that you will read these policies to gain a better understanding of them, so that you will know how to deal with vandalism better. Thanks. C.Chiam^Talk 03:01, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

....You shouldn't judge IPs like that. In my experience, because I deal with IPs a lot more than you (I think), it's more like 50% of IPs are vandals. Also, many IP editors later sign up and become great editors on this wiki. I was once an IP editor. You should not base it on experience, instead you should base it on facts. You can create userboxes as long as they are not in any way offensive. Offensive meaning sexual, rude, in appropriate etc. So if you want to create a userbox saying "I am a Christian and proud of it!", by all means, go ahead. C.Chiam^Talk 09:58, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
