As most of us know, or are going to find out, the new Project of the Week page has been created and the topic this week is Stubs! (Please see RuneScape:POW) As we know, there are over 700 Stubs! Some of these pages are the Slang pages. I have, as you and some others may have noticed, fixed some of these over time but I think a few of the community members should gather on the Slang Stubs. I think it slipped through the filter because the ad text doesn't contain the word gold. Do you know if was a Google ad or from one of the other providers? We've blocked it from Google, but if it shows up again, please look at the page source to see where it is from. On my "hi-speed" Comcast connection it would take anywhere from 5 minutes to 45 minutes to upload a video, but for it to be processed (able to be viewed) could take 10 minutes to 3 hours. For the icon to appear for the video might take up to 4 hours. So for overall viewing, up to 7:45:00 at the most. Chiafriend12 22:45, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

With your permision, I would like to organize the fall wikifest. Ilyas and I have gone over a few things, and we would like to move forward. I understand that I am not an admin (nor do I want to become one at this time), but I do plan events for a living(see www.thedonkeyparty.com, or www.myspace.com/thedonkeyparty). Err... Am I the only one who think the wiki ISN'T failing? We have over 6,000 pages, and over 200 animations whereas a while ago, we didn't have ANY animations. We have a huge community (one of the largest, IIRC) who, aside from a few fights, more or less get along. And yes, people will leave the wiki. It's inevitable. I agree with Tes...there will always be conflict, but the community is great. The fall wikifest was done well, and the while people dont always "get along" eveyone does have a common goal to make the wiki better Atlandy 23:47, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

I also agree with Tesfan. We haven't had a real vandal attack in, like, two months (as far as I can remember at this moment). Besides, we're far from being "below low". As far as I can see, in Help:Contents it doesn't say anything anything about all Jagex rules applying to the wiki, and in RuneScape:Chat there's no indication of it applying to IRC either. --Mura 03:30, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Jagex's *in-game* rules don't apply to the wiki, else I'd start having to hand out blocks to anyone who said "crap" or any other "vulger" words. With your permission, I have began working on an Events page. This page will be used to suppliment the forums, and to allow all wikians to post their own events that they are hosting. Hopefully this will allow wikians to "get together" in game easier and allow new users to see firsthand the strong communtiy that we have at the Wiki. Also, this will try and bring the community together by building friendships in game. When complete, we can discuss it being linked on the main page to draw new wikians towards it. when i had it on my comp i wasnt able to remove it but i was able to confuse it enough to beable to get around it... i had to stop the program and then i had to modify some of the user profile files and make shure you save the origional in a seprate place so you can revert if it doesnt work. --Only The Elite - RuneElite 03:04, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

Hi Emosworld, to add transparency, follow these simple steps...

1. Download and install Paint.NET (official website)
2. Start the program, load the image you want to add transparency to (File > Open > Image.png)
3. Click the Magic wand tool

Now depending on the subject in the image, the tolerance level will differ.

• If it is a Worn Equipment image like File:Steelwarhammer.png|this, set the tolerance to 7%, select the background and press "delete" (you have to do this a couple times).
• If it is a standard detail NPC, use 10% tolerance (change this if you end up selecting parts of the actual NPC)
• For HD images, change the tolerance depending on the background you are trying to delete.
