- Actually, I wholeheartedly agree with that; scammers and macros don't want to pay for an account that will most likely be banned within no more than two weeks' time. Of course, it's scum like that which give the "good" F2Pers a bad name. Therefore, although your statement is correct, I think it's slightly arbitrary in the favor of the argument that the majority Gielinor's scum is F2P. You also forgot to mention the F2Pers that don't cheat or scam, Members that do, people that change from one to the other once or repeatedly, etc.
That's basically all I can say without involuntarily turning this into a flame war. =] Please respond at The Pug's Page with any responding comments or questions.

Forum talk:Index spam filter Edit
I noticed that Forum talk:Index was deleted by the Janitor GHe. GHe's deletion summary was "spam". However, there was only one spam edit made by an anonymous user, who blanked the whole page, which had many discussions on it. I thought I should restore the discussions, so I checked the spammer's checkbox (which I thought would restore every edit except the spam), and clicked "Restore". But for some reason, only the spammer's edit appeared in the page history. I tried again, this time not checking any boxes. This time it worked, so I tried to undo the spammer's edit. It didn't work; the spam filter prevented me from editing the page. It said, "The following text is what triggered our spam filter: forum talk:index". I tried rollbacking the edit instead, it worked that time, but then I couldn't post the topic I wanted to put on the Index talk in the first place because it was again blocked by the spam filter. What is the spam filter, and is there any way to fix it?

Jagex staff accounts on fansites (this fansite, in this case) Edit
I know MMG announced that they will be more involved with fansites, but I don't remember him saying that they would actually have accounts on the sites and participate in their communities, as they did in 2002 or whenever. The line in the policy, "It's also possible that although you do not know it, the editor you're talking to is a player moderator, forum moderator or even a Jagex staff member.", made it sound like they'll have aliases and not mention that they're Jagex staff. If someone came with the username "Mod MMG", it would be obvious that they were either the respective J-Mod or an imposter (hopefully the first scenario). If they used the username "Mark G6659", people might make a connection and remark at the resemblence, but it wouldn't be like "Look! It's Mark Gerhard, Jagex's current CEO!", followed by a forming crowd.
I'm pretty sure they'll be making contact with fansites officially and such, and go by what they're known as. As of now, under no circumstance when by communicating with any other user on this site will you be talking to a Jagex staff member. If/when they were to make contact, arrangements and whatnot with our community, then that line would make sense. Jagex has yet to really acknowledge us, and having that line can be rather misleading.

Abuse of powers Edit
Hello, I'd like to know where I could register a complaint about your abuse of power in the clan chat channel. In a discussion about Michael Jackson's death, I said that I found it funny that he died from drug abuse, where the player Dtm142 proceeded to say "Goodbye" and kick me from the channel, angered about my opinion of his death. He claims it was disrespectful and maintains that he is able to kick me for my own opinions if they "conflict with [his]".

Removal of rollback tool Edit
Hi Dtm. I would like to request that you remove Rswfan's rollback tools as he has often assumed bad faith and thus has shown that he does not know when to use them. He has misused the tool here, here, here, here and here. There are probably a couple more but this should be more than enough to show that he does not understand that the rollback tool should only be used for obvious vandalism. Cheers. Crush Weapons Edit
Hey dtm, I had a question, it goes something like this. "I'm at attack level X, and I want to attack a monster that is weak to Crush attacks. Which weapon should I use?" I thought that I would create a page named "Crush Attacks" on which I would create a table of the available weapons, and which one is best at which attack level.
Killr833 keeps deleting this page without giving any idea why he disagrees with it. Can you tell me why this page is a bad idea?

First off, no warning. In what way is that not viloating policy? Not even any calls for the discussion to end, like I normally hear. Secondly, what did I do? You accuse me of trolling, and then say that "you don't like my attitude". Those are completely different things. "Trolling" is too general, and normally used to justify and un-just kick- I want an exact quote. Hi. Do you really think ranked cc members should be able to kick anyone they want, as many times as they want with no consequences? I'm not trying to start a fight, and I'm not concerned with your kick but I would like to know if you honestly think that that is fair. Would it be fair for a 'crat to kick an admin without explaining any reason or giving any warning? Again, I'm not concerned about any specific incident... just wondering if you think that, in general, ranks shouldn't have to provide any reason on why they kicked someone. - Not everything listed in the Patch Notes is a bug. Some of the items are just extremely minor improvements to the game, rather than fixes of actual programming errors. To me, the technique is just taking advantage of the NPC's behaviours along with the surroundings (like using a safe spot, but more complicated). Nex Gen. Signatures Edit
I was wondering if you guys would like more next generation signatures. You can see mine here. They expand to add more options in FF4+ Chrome 9+ & the future release of IE10. In other browsers they should simply shift allowing the other options to be seen without the animation. Alright, the situation is this: I have 3 accounts on the wiki, User:DeeME, User:Nomful, and this one User:Dennis2k8. The 2 former ones are blocked from editing on account of a requested new account (this one). Reopening a long-closed forum Edit
Hey Dtm, just wondering why you reopened a forum thread which has been closed for about a month now. There is pretty clear consensus on that page, and regardless of that, you should have contacted the closing admin first if you had problems with it. RSW Clan Chat Ban Edit
Dear Dtm,
You have been banned from the RSW clan chat for a period of two weeks for saying Christine's full (first/middle/last) name into the clan chat. She did not reveal her full name herself previously, nor did she give permission for anyone to reveal her full name.
As this is in blatant violation of one of the rules of RuneScape ("providing personal information such as full names") which in turn violates rule 1 of the clan chat, it unfortunately warrants a kick and temporary ban from the clan chat. Please note that this is not a deranking; after the expiry of the ban you may rejoin the clan with the deputy owner rank if you so wish.
I would also like to remind you that this is not appropriate behavior for a bureaucrat. As a trusted member of the community, you should know better than to commit such an egregious breach of privacy against another member of this community. Please refrain from such action in the future.
In conjunction with this ban, I ask that you explain to Christine why you said her name in public. I am told that the incident was more or less "out of the blue" with no previous context that is relevant to her name.

Admin bullying Edit
- I replaced the profile image for Saradomin with a more recent once that showed more of his face than the previous image. AnselaJonla quickly reverted the edit and ordered me to find the citation and source for the image before he would allow it to remain.
- I spent 20 minutes trying to find what he asked me to find. When I finally provided him with what he asked for, he eventually realized that I was right, so he quickly changed his opinion and said that he didn't like the image. But if he didn't like it, why did he make me jump through all these hoops to begin with? That was very unprofessional.
- He saw the image before he asked me to do all of that. I find that was very unprofessional of AnselaJonla to make me do 20 minutes of research just to wave it away when he got in a bad mood. Would it be possible for some form of action to be taken against AnselaJonla for doing this? The conflict can be found on the page's edit history and our talk pages. Thank you.
