Letter to the editor Edit
This is ridiculous, half the time. I mean, really. For one thing, why require people to use British spelling? Last I checked, we're not a British-based wiki, we're just a wiki about a product from a British company. For another, who would actually use the term "Woodcutting Yew Trees" (by the way, that would make it alot harder to understand than "Cutting yews")? Absurd! AND, it says at the beginning, "So submissions will be consistent." Why not let people have their own, distinctive style, as long as it's not ridiculous? Say, let British use British spelling, and Americans use American, etc.?

Let's say I lent out a Rune Scimitar to someone, who took it to the wilderness with him and died. Assuming that the Scimitar was not one of the three Kept-on-Death items, what would happen to the Scimitar? Would it be returned to me or would it be dropped at the grave like a normal item?

Hello there, I have been blocked unfairly on the clans wiki by another administrator named Airblade86. He hates me and has insulted me behind my back. When I responded to these insults (which I regret doing) he banned me. Here's an insult he said against me when I tried to join a clan.

Letter from Uberfuzzy Edit
In light of some recent events here I thought it would be of benefit to share out this letter that Uberfuzzy wrote to Azaz129 with all our active sysops, and he has agreed to let me do so. This is not meant as a slap at any one for recent actions, just as some food for thought about us and where we want to be as a wiki.
sufficient at Wikia, with little need from staff/helper intervention. This is a dream of ours, to have more wikis run themselves, allowing us to focus our finite amount of time and resources on the sites that actually need it. Sadly, your wiki is an exception in many ways, not the norm.
As with the checkuser, we've shown that we're willing to try things out, to break away from the mentality of "how things were done in the past" to see how they fair in the ever evolving world of wikis, and to get some real world data on how a stable wiki will react if allowed more rights. You've been great test of our theoretical worries about granting checkuser where needed.
Done. You bureaucrats can now add and remove bot rights.
One thing We've always admired about your wiki is even though you have a way above average number of sysops, you have managed to keep the bureaucrat list small, showing that you understand what that roll is meant for, and not just another checkbox. We hope to continue to see good things come out of

The Runescape Fan Fiction Wiki Edit
Do you remember the Runescape Fan fiction wiki you started? It has a small community of users, including myself, and we have a rather large problem. We have no active admins. Toabionacle responded to a query on his user page 21 days ago, but apart from that, we have no admins at all. We are suffering from some vandalism, and, as none of us can ban or block, we really don't know what to do. If you, as a beuracrat, could appoint a new admin, that would be help a great deal. That costume sounds good, but as I don't have enough CW tickets for that sword, what about Reese's sword, leaf-bladed sword, one of the white metal swords or something else? Maybe even a runite sword like you said. Oh, and I may not have enough money for the saradomin plate, and what shield+helm am I supposed to use? I was thinking about using some set that would match a falador shield 3, and a white beret, but those are just my favourite equipment for those slots for my normal costume, and if I'm not able to afford sara plate+legs(+possibly helm and kite), what armour should I wear instead?

Hi Chia, it's Toa here. I've been fairly active on the Wiki recently, finishing off a few things, but I've noticed that the thriving community that sprung up in 2010 has now been reduced to a few independant workers and one very nervous offical. Coroxn, Berus, Hyper. They've all seemingly disappeared as I've poked my head around the door.
That offical, Howiter1, has been called out by myself on two occasions (the first for reckless deletions, the second for a prolonged curse-filled rant against vandals on "MediaWiki:Community-corner". His most recent reply was, "I'm doomed. You came back... now I'm in trouble... I'm a terrible Admin and Buero... why Chia had to make me one... "
I'm thinking that for the time being, I should be given Official status until the site picks up again. It would only be temporary, but it might be necessary seeing how little confidence Howiter1 seems to have in his abilities.

Vandalism on Dark RuneScape Wiki Edit
I know this may sound silly, but the Dark RuneScape Wiki is being overrun by vandals who are making edits that glorify rule breaking. As far as I know, there hasn't been a sysop or an admin on that wiki for almost two years, and the vandalism is getting out of hand. In other words, we need your help. You're back? Thank heavens, there's a bit of an issue going on over at the Dark Runescape Wiki, and there are no active admins there. The only recent admin edits on that wiki are from Huanghe63 (a sysop), and Randomtime, a member of the Wikia SpamTaskForce. I'm almost the only account that actively edits that wiki, and I cannot do anything if any spammers or vandals come along. With this being said, I request to become an admin (or at the very least, a sysop) on the Dark RuneScape Wiki.
