[edit] Blanking your talk page

Information Hello Ch3wy, we have a policy of not deleting discussions here, if you would like to have a clear talk page then you may archive it. To archive a talk page, simply create a page titled User talk:Ch3wy/archive 1 (be sure to include a link to your archive on your talk page) and move the contents of your talk page there.

I realize this, but the subject message is the default given to every single new user. Thus, it's not exactly a discussion, is it?Chewy 01:58, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
I've taken the liberty of looking at a few other people's discussion pages; they lacked both an archive and welcome message. Can I have permission to delete the welcome message?Chewy 02:00, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
Well i did not. 02:09, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
It's not a discussion, though. Granted, this is. But a post welcoming me to the wiki serves no purpose and is merely large and ugly. I already knew how to edit, and the post seems much less a discussion as it is spam. I don't mean to sound rude.Chewy 02:14, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Y

You'll have to be more specific. Nominate an article. Unless you want a whole archieve dedicated to errors, I recommend it be of average length. JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 23:36, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

I'll do it tomorrow; busy tonight. But I can assure you there are mistakes, even in the first two sentences. JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 23:54, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Runes

  • "Runescape" is italicised. It should not be so unless referred to from an out-of-universe perspective, which it isn't and should not be.
  • Animated gif does not add to the value of the page and makes it lag.
  • Use of the word "include" instead of "consist of" when saying what elemental and non-elemental runes are.
  • "Uses" of runes are fairly wide-ranging; either include all or none. Mind runes, for example, are used for more than just Magic Dart and strike spells.
  • The minigame runes section is garbled; sentences aren't in the ideal order. It's also contradictory, saying runes can't be dropped then telling you what happens when they're dropped.
  • Another pointless, laggy animated gif...
  • Combination runes - "take the appropriate talisman to the respective altar." That's the only explanation given; it then moves on to an example. Eh? Either explain it properly or don't explain it at all. It doesn't even mention one of the requisite ingredients: essence.
  • Shop section - magic guild - says 66+ magic or 62 with a magic potion. The potion isn't required, it can be any boost. Stew, Oldak, etc.
  • Barrows section - "Very high combat level" - subjective and unnecessary - such comments are best left to the Barrows article, but the comment shouldn't be phrased such anyway.

It's an impressive article by the standards of this wiki. JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 22:52, 18 March 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee:Desserts of Treasureness

Yeah, I admit that the Fareed section was a bit off. In fact, the whole page needs a bit of rewriting, but I stand by my previous thoughts about most of the other things. I'll take another look at it tomorrow, in the meantime, continue doing what you think is right, I haven't been here in awhile, the other editors know better. Additionally, I apologize if I sound irritable or as if I know everything, but that's just my point of view. Syugecinspam 02:10, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
