As most of us know, or are going to find out, the new Project of the Week page has been created and the topic this week is Stubs! (Please see RuneScape:POW) As we know, there are over 700 Stubs! The main key to 99 skillz is efficiency. Then comes patience. The best advice I can give is to be persistent, and don't waste time. Use the best methods available to you- in your case, willows at the Barbarian Outpost. A dragon axe helps too, but not much- it's not much more efficient. Depends on when you can get them to me. I'm working my way up to lvl 63-65 smithing for the Devious Minds quest, and I'm currently only at 57, so I need around 9k more steel bars. I'm crafting them into cannonballs, and it seems to work well when it comes to prices, assuming I sell cannonballs at below market price, I still make a slight profit. So, I'm looking for about 9k, which will get me to lvl 65. I'll be doing just about nothing but smithing until I get that requirement though, so I may be done by the time you have a bunch for me to buy. ^TIRRIAN_GANT ^(TALK) 19:52, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

Depends on how many you plan on making. I'm expecting that it'll take me another week to a week and a half (depending on how much time I have to play) to finish the leveling and selling. I doubt that I'll buy more than 4 times, and I can't afford much more than 2k steel bars at a time. However, they're a popular item on the forums, so you'd probably be able to sell them without a problem even if I can't buy them. Mostly my ad is there for those who have pre-made steel bars, makes it faster for me. So if you're just starting to make them, you may not have them all made by the time I'm done buying for now. I'm planning on getting all the quests (which means, obviously, all the skill requirements too) by Thanksgiving. At that time I'll be taking a break for a month or so. When I get back to the game after Christmas, I'll be leveling a bunch of skills, so I may be interested in buying steel bars then, but I don't know yet. ^TIRRIAN_GANT ^(TALK) 14:20, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
