Hi Atlandy, I saw that your signature is putting its raw code in the pages you sign, instead of {{Signatures/Atlandy}}. I was wondering if you knew that the signature policy chnaged so that users may no longer put their signature code into the articles. Psycho created a nice template for this.
Hello, Atlandy. It has come to my attention you are signing with an untemplated signature. This is against the wiki's signature policy because signature code can make pages quite large as well as interfere with other code on the page. To make a templated signature, first create the page Template:Signatures/Atlandy, then paste your signature code. After the last character of your code, without hitting enter or inserting a line break, add this:
Once you have your code pasted in the template page, go to your preferences, ensure that "Custom Signature" is checked, and paste this into the "Signature" field:
{{SUBST:Nosubst|Signatures/Atlandy}}
After doing this, typing ~~~~ should result in {{Signatures/Atlandy}} appearing instead of the entire code for your signature. If you have any problems, please tell me on my talk page and I will be able to help you.
Seriously, you need to address this before you sign your name again man. How does it look when we jump all over new users that fail to comply but heres a long time sysop ignoring policy? Thanks,--Degenret01 23:52, April 29, 2010 (UTC)
In light of some recent events here I thought it would be of benefit to share out this letter that Uberfuzzy wrote to Azaz129 with all our active sysops, and he has agreed to let me do so. This is not meant as a slap at any one for recent actions, just as some food for thought about us and where we want to be as a wiki.
As you and your wiki has shown in the past, a large stable community can exist and be fairly self
sufficient at Wikia, with little need from staff/helper intervention. This is a dream of ours, to
have more wikis run themselves, allowing us to focus our finite amount of time and resources on the
sites that actually need it. Sadly, your wiki is an exception in many ways, not the norm.
As with the checkuser, we've shown that we're willing to try things out, to break away from the
mentality of "how things were done in the past" to see how they fair in the ever evolving world of
wikis, and to get some real world data on how a stable wiki will react if allowed more rights.
You've been great test of our theoretical worries about granting checkuser where needed.
Done. You bureaucrats can now add and remove bot rights.
One thing We've always admired about your wiki is even though you have a way above average number of
sysops, you have managed to keep the bureaucrat list small, showing that you understand what that
roll is meant for, and not just another checkbox. We hope to continue to see good things come out of
runescape, and can continue to use it as a shining example of our dream.-Uberfuzzy
Just a quick question... is it possible to un-block someone who was blocked infientidly. Can you un-block them if they were innocent, such as someone using their account, or it being an extermely long time being blocked? Thank You...Stopme 06:05, April 11, 2010 (UTC)
would u mind removing the page "Duneoneering/Music" (typo intended) someone must have made it and copied all the music in there, just changed it into a redirect for the time being thanks Timwac talk 17:39, April 14, 2010 (UTC)
All the dung herbs have messed up names. Can you delete the page Clean sagewort and move Clean Sagewort over there? Thanks LordDarkPhantom 13:05, May 9, 2010 (UTC)
The capital is wrong =o LordDarkPhantom 13:09, May 9, 2010 (UTC)
I can see your point, and of course everyone can understand that it's vandalism to add that, however, as I said, most people don't even know if what they wrote will actually show up on the page. They just add it to see if it'd work, and I can see that most of those people won't have constructive edits after that first one, there's a possiblity that they'll be a helpful contributor. Take me as an example, my first edit to this wiki was pure vandalism, and I just recieved a warning. If I was blocked, I'd feel that it was unfair, and not use this website anymore. bad_fetustalk 18:32, May 31, 2010 (UTC)
WTTHHH??! WHYYY DO YOU KEEP DELETING ANYTHING THAT SAYS GRIFT?! I for a fact know LOADS of people that call it Grift because they dont want to sound like an idiot calling it "dung". HOWW CAN EDITS IN SLANG EVEN BE REMOVED?!! ARGGH! Let it be!
I can't say that you know me all that well. I'm a bit argumentative-it's just kind of how my brain works. I hadn't found the guide to RfAs until midway through my first one. So...those combined facts were why I was so aggressive on that one, and for that I apologize. I would like to think that I have kept my cool for longer than 3 weeks. I may not be the most mature person around, but I'm also far from the least mature. Also, I did not understand blocking 3 months ago (as seen from the top of your talk page).
However, I'd like to bring something to your attention. You didn't block someone who made 5 different edits, and yet shown here, here, and here you blocked someone for recreating a page only a minute after you had given them a final warning. Many new players don't pick up on the messages right away. Do you think this could have been a bit premature? And the "Sniping" article had a chance to become a very useful, well-written article if it had been given time. Could you please explain this to me? Thanks, HaloTalk 21:35, July 6, 2010 (UTC)
Perhaps I should have done it like this. I didn't bring this up on RfA for a reason. The two comments above were separate thoughts. Stop hiding behind your edit count though. I wanted to know why, and you immediately go "I've got 10k edits, so leave me alone." Plenty of people have way more edits than you and yet they don't feel the need to brag about it. And by the way, you still didn't answer my question. HaloTalk 12:45, July 7, 2010 (UTC)
I talked to Rwojy and he convinced me to reconsider this. You were right, I was wrong. I have no hard feelings, but I want to know if you do. Other than the fact that you obviously don't think I can handle the responsibilities of being an administrator...is there something I have done to really annoy you? If so, I apologize, because I didn't mean to do so. I hope we can be on better terms, HaloTalk 13:18, July 7, 2010 (UTC)
Thank you very much. I'll do my best to keep this in mind...and try to slow/calm down and be less argumentative. HaloTalk 18:46, July 7, 2010 (UTC)
"Aggressive" isn't really the best word, but i basically meant people who are willing to argue for the issues they are supporting/opposing rather then just saying "It just doesn't appeal to me" or "Sorry that would just be too much of a change."
Yes, thats part of it too. I know halo fairly well, because i see him editing alot. There are quite a few admins who, dispite being active, i hardly ever see editing. And Halo might be fairly agressive and mean at times, i wont argue with that, but its not like he will misuse his tools or anything like that, and he seems like one of the most active users.
Hey, how's it goin? Yeah, I haven't been on a whole lot in the last couple months, been taking some online classes and that, mixed with work, a wife, and the kids, leads to very little fun time in-game. I still get in often enough though, keeping up on quests, checking on miscellania, and occasionally raising my dungeoneering (which I'm trying to get up to 70+ with the rest of my skills). As for Lumberjacks, I've had it for a while, and mostly it was just a matter of patience. I have a ton of most of the different articles of clothing, but I think the pants took me the longest to get. I ran through the course at the easiest level and with the easiest adventurer escorts I think, just so I could finish them faster each time. I think it took me a couple of days, playing a couple hours each day before I had the whole set. Good luck with it though! TIRRIANGANT(TALK) 18:04, July 11, 2010 (UTC)
I don't lie, my POH range actually opened up its door and attacked me with bolts of energy. It did rapid low damage and it stopped when I left my house afterwards. As I said before, I am an honest person and this is not a lie, I repeat THIS IS NOT A LIE!!!!!!!!
I'm gonna jump out of the window if that's true >_> bad_fetustalk 13:16, July 21, 2010 (UTC)
I know it sounds stupid but I actually did have my POH stove attack me. If anyone else has had that, I'd be less freaked out about the whole thing if they messaged me.AndyMossers 21:19, July 21, 2010 (UTC)
Lol I get that it's hard to believe. For all you know I could be some raving lunatic. But oh well, I must just be imagining it or something. AndyMossers 21:26, July 21, 2010 (UTC)
Hi, sorry about not being more clear. I will contact each admin beforehand to make sure that they are OK with both an e-mail and talk page link. That was what I was planning to do anyways, but it appears that I didn't say it ^.^ ajr 19:30, July 23, 2010 (UTC)
Hello, I was just wondering if you would be OK with having a link to your email on RuneScape:Administrators. You don't need to provide your email address, as it will be linked to through Special:Emailuser. Please respond on my talk page. Thanks! ajr 20:17, July 31, 2010 (UTC)
Never mind, I forgot that it was a huge "no" from you :P ajr 20:24, July 31, 2010 (UTC)
Hey Atlanty, I just wanted to let you know that we had a discussion about fully protecting userpages at Forum:No full protection for userpages. The consensus was to not allow full protection, so if you could change your userpage back to semi-protected, that would be great. Thanks- Aburnett(Talk) 16:34, August 15, 2010 (UTC)
Hey, just so you know, that IP that you just blocked won't ever spam again - that type of spambot switches IPs every time. It is more important that the article is semi-protected, as that will do more for preventing further spam than a block will. ajr 14:22, August 16, 2010 (UTC)
Even if that thread was about that specific incident, what can I do about it? I'm being ignored by Dtm despite asking him nicely to work it out with me, and that other thread was inactive for several days, and, aside from 1 post today, still is. I would like to continue the discussion here, rather then on that thread, if you don't mind. 3rd age farcaster 02:19, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks. Although I am looking forward to 100 dg so I can start floors with plate armour as well as the silk hood so I don't die so often. Amauricetalk 21:55, October 18, 2010 (UTC)
I might go for the level 120 eventually, but after level 100, my plan is to alternate doing dungeoneering with other things, rather than just primarily focusing on dungeoneering. Amauricetalk 22:54, October 20, 2010 (UTC)
Special:MergeHistory was enabled here. This allows pages to be merged very easily; all you need to do is type in the name of the page going to be merged, and the page it should be merged into. Cheers, HaloTalk 13:29, November 1, 2010 (UTC)
I kinda screw'd up with my bot can you roll back it to 15:59, November 4, 2010 bot name: User:JSBot (if some one haven't done it yet)
You probably want to ask why? Well I forgot that there could be }} in the way (this is fixed) when it was on z so yea... --IkinTalk 14:28, November 4, 2010 (UTC)
I cant post on your talk page because of so thing you put on it that does not allow me to click edit. You want me to rollback all the edits your bot did? Atlandy 14:42, November 4, 2010 (UTC)
What would be the best way to approach the duplicate article, "Cyclopean Helmet"? Not sure how redirects and deletions work around here, but the correct article is Cyclopean helmet. Thanks, | Ablm578Talk 15:59, December 7, 2010 (UTC)
I couldn't help to notice you have "Back to editing...Carloz94!" on your user profile (or however it is called) but i wanted to know what do you mean with that, i just want to contribute to this community and i would like some help or tips on how to edit correctly, the rules, and other things i mught need to know...
I know you don't know me, but I'd like to request that you come on IRC. Another user, Matthew2602, is a bit angry and would like to talk with you, and he'd really appreciate it if you would take a few minutes of your time to discuss some things with him. Whether you do get on IRC or not, though, could you please leave a message on his talk page? Thanks! -- Furry(talk) 14:36, April 20, 2011 (UTC)
I'll let him know when he returns. I tried to message you on IRC explaining that he had left a few minutes ago, but you left before I could! Ah, well, thanks for honouring his request! -- Furry(talk) 16:24, April 20, 2011 (UTC)
Anyways, the only thing I wanted to ask is why you did this. I had the galleries split up around the page, relating to the section they were in, which provided the reader with them at the exact time they needed them. You, took them all together into one big garbled mess, with no immediate relevance to anything, and at the exact opposite of when they need them - at the end of the page, which, they most likely won't read until they have completed the quests. MattTalk 21:41, April 20, 2011 (UTC)
Okay, perhaps some of the images shouldn't have been included in the walkthrough section. But I think a majority should have been. MattTalk 22:30, April 21, 2011 (UTC)
Hey, could you please not capitalize the first letter of item names unless they're used at the beginning of a sentence? Thanks, Suppa chuppaTCCVRC 16:00, April 22, 2011 (UTC)
Well, the pages that have that really shouldn't. It's just a grammatical convention. It becomes inconsistent since many contributors don't know about it. Suppa chuppaTCCVRC 16:02, April 22, 2011 (UTC)
Hm, I did not realize that. I thought I recalled two threads about it, one by Liquid and one possibly by Ajr, can't remember though. Well in any case, it's not that big of a deal. Suppa chuppaTCCVRC 16:10, April 22, 2011 (UTC)
Aha, I found the thread I was thinking of here. If I am understanding the closure properly, all occurrences should only have capitalization if the word is a proper noun. Just my understanding of it. Suppa chuppaTCCVRC 16:14, April 22, 2011 (UTC)
Hey, I saw you didn't use the usual welcome template, Template:Welcome Notice, for welcoming User talk:Hunting16br. As that welcome template gives the users a more detailed introduction to the wiki, and they will know better what to do, I'd like to ask you to use that template instead. Thanks, JOEYTJE50TALK 10:10, April 23, 2011 (UTC)
I didn't say that. I asked you to use the official welcome template instead of your own, or personalise it based on that template. You are giving the new users a welcome without very much information, so they might not know where to start, which makes us have less editors. Also, Template:Welcome Notice is official enough to have had a YG thread about it, so yes, I would call it official. This is still just a question if you could please change your welcome notice. Not forcing anything. JOEYTJE50TALK 14:46, April 23, 2011 (UTC)
Tell me you are kidding... Christine 15:38, April 23, 2011 (UTC)
I would like to make one little question, but I doubt it you can answer me that. Why can't portuguese member use the membership payment method, pay by sms? I think they could introduce that in the membership payment method because there are already many members playing runescape that would become a membership if that payment method was introduced.
Happy Birthday Atlandy! It looks like you have grown another year. But now, you have another year to go at being super uber pro. Have a great year!

Why did you delete my page? Is it against the rules to advertise clans on this wiki?
Hello mate, i was hoping you can help me, i wish to created an article.. about my runescape career.
I made it.. posted it.. and it got moved to my profile instead by somebody.. i do not wish for it to be like that.. i would like my profile to remain private and untouched.
I would very much appreciate it if you can tell me or help me out on making my article using the information of my profile provided.. so it is like "merchers" "zezimas" article if you understand?
Hi Atlandy, you're on the RSW clan's kick list because you have gained no xp int he last month. If you wish to retain your spot please let me know on my talk page within the next week. OTherwise, if you are kicked, you are free to rejoin at any time with your current rank. --King LiquidheliumTalk 06:21, January 18, 2013 (UTC)
