Hi. Thank you for your feedback. The Streets of Varrock Series is indeed a bit long. But it is supposed to. I'm trying to write a huge seamless story... Not going to be easy, though... About the god wars, I didn't understand what you meant. Is it the God Wars II TBA at RS Fan Fiction Wiki? 4ndrepdTalkContribsJump to the God Wars II! 16:37, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
I mean the one about a teenager leading a bunch of teenagers in a village in the valley.--Atheist723 11:39, July 28, 2010 (UTC)
Enjoy! Also, anyone is welcome to write for the wiki post. If you have a story written, you can speak with Jack Spiral (or me, if you want) so he can approve it. Tien 16:25, July 28, 2010 (UTC)
The main thing you need to know about Dungeoneering is how prestige works. Basically, you get a prestige bonus when you raid a floor for the first time. Prestige greatly increases the experience you gain; however, you won't get prestige if you raid the same floor twice or more, so in order to get the most experience you must raid each floor once (the floors that you have the level to raid, of course). After doing each possible floor once, you should reset. This will also reset your prestige, so once again you may raid floors and earn prestige from them. Raiding a floor without prestige will pretty much halve the experience you get the floor.
If you already know how prestige works, then the only other advice I can offer is to raid floors 1-25 as quickly as possible, and then raid floors 26+ with a five-man team and the highest settings possible (large size, 6 complexity, 5:5 difficulty, etc).

No, I'm not going to kill you. It's a userbox. If a user looks at it, their name is displayed to them. Believe me, I look at it and it shows MY name. Icecold531 17:15, August 1, 2010 (UTC)
EDIT: This is the code for the userbox in question:
((Userbox/PwnYou)) (Just remember to replace the (( )) with {{ }} )
I hate manipulation clans, but I hate Jagex more for allowing them to exist. Also I would advocate you stop using the term "merchant clan" since there's no merchanting involved in their parasitic machinations. Just price manipulation and ponzi scheming. Psycho Robottalk 07:05, August 10, 2010 (UTC)
I'm not native to English, and I'm too lazy to make sure I spelt "manipulation" wrong, lol. Jagex hasn't put the item trade number cap (e.g. 100 weapons an hour) there for nothing. From what I know of those clans, they mainly trade items needed in great numbers for training, so it is almost impossible to stop them. RuneScape is a game with much freedom, and freedom breeds crime. Atheist723 07:13, August 10, 2010 (UTC)
There absolutely is a way to stop them and that way is for Jagex to look for the signs of manipulation (suspicious and sudden price increases) and stopping it themselves. The reason they have allowed it to persist is because there's no way to automate the solution and they're too lazy to fix it manually. So instead they make a big scene that its not as big a problem as we think, when in reality they know its a terrible blight. Psycho Robottalk 07:15, August 10, 2010 (UTC)
No way to automate that? From what I heard about stock markets, stocks sometimes would automatically stop all trade when there is an abnormal spike or plummet in price. Maybe Jagex can adopt that? Atheist723 14:31, August 10, 2010 (UTC)
thanks, i guess. The thing on my userpage? its a bunch of pointless code that displays 0-7 random letters at a time, in a random color. No real purpose, made it cuz i was bored. RUMQAEXrwojy 14:33, August 15, 2010 (UTC)
I clicked on that pointless code again and again for 5 minutes... Atheist723 23:46, August 15, 2010 (UTC)
After looking through your IP's contributions, I assumed it was you who posted on my talk page.
I'm glad you paid attention to the details of the story. There were a bunch of things I changed around (I believe Zamorak was supposed to be a general when Kharrim brought him the staff, but in the story I implied that he wasn't a general quite yet). I never thought about the point you mentioned though! Tien 23:09, March 28, 2011 (UTC)
I took a peek here and saw that you had edited your userpage. Tien 16:16, April 3, 2011 (UTC)
I don't know how Rich Text Editor works now (I never use it) but if you click the "source" button, you can edit the source of it. There is probably a template at the top of the page, and there is |Image = there probably. Add (or replace) the image there by [[File:(filename)|size]]. Don't use thumb(nail)s for infobox images, because that adds a border around the image which it shouldn't have. JOEYTJE50TALK 14:37, April 14, 2011 (UTC)
Oh and the size should be in the format |sizepx, so for example |150px. Else it won't work. JOEYTJE50TALK 14:38, April 14, 2011 (UTC)
Please add categories to navboxes instead of articles to make adding/removing the category easier. It is not needed to add categories seperately, except if the navbox is not on pages that require the category (for example, all ingot related items are in the artisans workshop category via the navbox now) JOEYTJE50TALK 15:11, April 16, 2011 (UTC)
In the header of the navbox at the bottom of the page is a small "e" to the right. Click that to edit it, and at the bottom add the category between <includeonly>(category)</includeonly> to make it appear on the pages it's used on only. This is easier than adding it to all pages seperately. For example, this adds all pages the template is used on to the Artisans Workshop category. I hope it helped, and if it's still not clear, just post another message on my talk. JOEYTJE50TALK 15:26, April 16, 2011 (UTC)
Stop adding Category:Artisans Workshop to articles that have an infobox that could as well have that category. Just do it the way I explained just above. What you do is considered achievement boosting and is not allowed. JOEYTJE50TALK 00:35, April 17, 2011 (UTC)
It's okay if there's no other way, it's just that you shouldn't make maintenance needlessly harder by doing it in that way if it's also possible to do the easier way. Thanks, JOEYTJE50TALK 00:48, April 17, 2011 (UTC)
those categories are added by default if the examine parameter is left blank. Don't add them. check if the page already has the category before adding categories. This is your last warning. If you continue to add completely useless categories, or categories that could have been added VERY much easier than adding it all manually, you will be blocked. Thank you. JOEYTJE50TALK 01:31, April 17, 2011 (UTC)
Okay. It is just very annoying to see how someone keeps adding categories and it looks very much like the user does that just for the badges. JOEYTJE50TALK 01:35, April 17, 2011 (UTC)
If you want to do that, you should create a template with a navbox similar to other navboxes, with the category, and links to all related pages. Then place the navbox at the bottom of all related pages, and remove the category it is added to via the navbox (again, to make maintenance easier). JOEYTJE50TALK 12:04, April 17, 2011 (UTC)
Hey, it looks like Caitlin is all right for now. As for AKAs, we removed most of them per Forum:AKA. It's Cook's afterbirth day! 19:04, April 16, 2011 (UTC)
Hiya. Feel free to add the npc maps to the infobox. And thanks for the congrats, I guess It's Cook's afterbirth day! 08:59, April 17, 2011 (UTC)
There is a point where there are too many images on a page to be useful. That was one of them. It's Cook's afterbirth day! 11:00, April 17, 2011 (UTC)
The point still stands that they are useless and add nothing to the page. Look around at our other guides; they are not inundated with that many pictures, especially those with no substance to them. It's Cook's afterbirth day! 11:31, April 17, 2011 (UTC)
It seems that many of your edits are made for reasons of "edit farming" or earning badges (see [1], [2]). If this is what you are truly doing, stop it. Please realize that the achievements module will soon be removed after the trial period has ended, and any badges that you have gained will be gone. We encourage contributors to edit for the sole purpose of improving the wiki, and I would encourage you to do the same. Thanks, Suppa chuppaTCCVRC 19:53, April 17, 2011 (UTC)
About that message you placed on your userpage as reasons against this, I would like to ask you why you suddenly stopped editing as much directly after the achievements were removed. Did exams just start again, your mum gave you access to runescape again, Jagex suddenly stopped releasing cool stuff and you forgot how to add images and categories? Just a guess, I could be completely wrong too, of course. JOEYTJE50TALK 15:01, April 21, 2011 (UTC)
Getting used to how things are done at any Wiki is hard, even if you own it. When you have to share it with others, it becomes almost impossible. Stick with it though. It does get better.
As I'm not sure what other encouragement you might want or need, I'll leave it at that. Hit my talkpage if you want.
Hi Atheist! I see that you've recently uploaded an image that is a duplicate of File:Frozen Skaldrun.png. If you want to overwrie it, click "upload a new version". Thanks! Nex 00:03, June 5, 2011 (UTC)
It's of the same subject, therefore we consider it a duplicate. Nex 00:09, June 5, 2011 (UTC)
Yes. And when they are, they're overwritten to keep the history. Nex 00:13, June 5, 2011 (UTC)
Sorry, I don't have the file Just click "upload a new version" and upload it. If it looks weird it's because of a bug. You can read it about it here. Thanks for helping! Nex 00:22, June 5, 2011 (UTC)
Looks like Fswe got it for you. It's pretty annoying when you miss a bracket and it screws up the entire page. It's Cook's afterbirth day! 17:10, June 6, 2011 (UTC)
I'm not sure what you're asking. You mean the images? Hmm, do you use the Rich Text Editor? (Disable by going to My preferences > Editing > Enable Rich Text Editor). 02:26, June 6, 2011 (UTC)
Hmm...If I were you I would use the monster infobox, but just make a note that they are NPCs prior to that. It's Cook's afterbirth day! 22:58, June 6, 2011 (UTC)
Personally I don't like having two different infoboxes on the same page, but seeing as the page is so short to begin with, it looks okay. It's Cook's afterbirth day! 23:12, June 6, 2011 (UTC)
It was deleted (; I'm not sure what our policy is (if we even have one) about the official quest (now saga) images. All of the images used in the infoboxes for quests are official and taken from the game guide, so I imagine the same would apply to sagas and all future quests/sagas. They're not the prettiest pictures, and are generally of poor quality, but that's just how we do it. Better, or more dynamic, as you put, images can be found throughout the articles themselves. (: 20:43, June 7, 2011 (UTC)
There wasn't any information contained in the infobox NPC that was different than the infobox monster though. The double infobox also doesn't exactly look good on the page. Suppa chuppaTCCVRC 23:27, June 7, 2011 (UTC)
For articles like this, don't bother making an "other uses" style sentence (ie, "this article is about x, for y, see z". As per the documentation on Template:Otheruses, we don't use such on a page that is very specific (using the example on that page, we wouldn't say "This is the article about the constellation, for the god, see Saradomin" on Saradomin (constellation), as anyone looking for such a specific page won't be looking for the god (if they honestly didn't know about the god, they'd encounter that page first).
The same applies to Signpost (Clan Citadels), as anyone who actually meant to look for Signpost will have found it first. But the inverse applies: someone looking for the page on signposts in Clan Citadels might stumble upon Signpost first.
As a side note, you may wish to use {{Otheruses}} instead of just typing it in, to maintain consistent formatting. HofmicTalk 05:25, October 9, 2011 (UTC)
I don't think Jagex even had plans for the Dominion tower back when they released blink. And if it would be a hint, it would be SO unclear, it's just pure speculation to mention it here. That's why it shouldn't be on the article. JOEYTJE50TALK 13:25, November 3, 2011 (UTC)
I was just fixing the double redirect. If you want to make it point to the weapon itself, that's fine. Suppa chuppaTCCVRC 16:36, December 8, 2011 (UTC)
Hey, when you're undoing something, be sure to leave a summary of what you're undoing as to clear up any misinterpretations or such. Oh, and I think you should request for the rollback tool, which we use as a tool for undoing vandalism :) STYG 04:01, December 26, 2011 (UTC)
Hai, just wanted to remind you that we're not the RuneScape Glitches Wiki. ;3= 05:50, December 26, 2011 (UTC)
You seem to upload a lot of minor glitch images. 07:17, December 26, 2011 (UTC)
Hi void knight guy. Just a small request, could you be more specific when adding cleanup templates such as in this case? I figured I'd go through the Articles in need of cleanup category to find some articles desperately needing help, but I cannot find anything of critical note in that specific article. Prose is great, but some things are better as a bullet list. I'm more than willing to compromise if you could elaborate on how the page could be improved. Thanks, HofmicTalk 07:18, December 27, 2011 (UTC)
I've banned you for three hours until 15:30 UTC because you were join/quit spamming. If you believe the problem has been fixed before then you may ask an admin or other chat mod to unban you. Thank you. MattTalk 12:23, December 31, 2011 (UTC)
Hey, you seem to have experienced some bug or lag that has caused you to spam joins and quits, so you have been banned from Special:Chat until you can confirm you closed the browser etc so you won't spam joins/quits anymore. To be unbanned, please contact an administrator. Thanks,

Congratulations, you're the first familiar name on recent changes, so I shall slap a question on your talk page even though it has nothing to do with you (the RC stalkers will see it anyway, too). The Beginner's guide has a cleanup template, with the obvious reason "way too much text". Obviously, it IS a massive guide (it's a big, big world out there. However, I cannot think of any way to cut that down. Pretty much every section that can be split off already has a main article, and I can't bring myself to axe out any sections (while that may make it more readable, it subtracts from the knowledge easily available to beginners, the page's target).
So, any radical (or not-so-radical) ideas to improve that page? Or is it fine? HofmicTalk 06:35, January 7, 2012 (UTC)
Actually, I wonder how many people I'd piss off by axing the money making section with a link to the broader money making guides... HofmicTalk 06:37, January 7, 2012 (UTC)
Hmm, I'd say the killing and exploring sections of the money making guide are useful to new players, but the skill sections is just a ton of text walls describing the skills and how they work rather than stating specifically how to make money with it. Perhaps just the skill sections could go (linking to the money making guides which specifically cover the skills, of course). The existing money making guides are sorted by level, anyway. HofmicTalk 06:50, January 7, 2012 (UTC)
And the page is pretty laggy, for me, anyway. My laptop is a bit sluggish on it. HofmicTalk 06:51, January 7, 2012 (UTC)
One step ahead of you. I was already well into simplifying and reorganizing the page (edit conflict D=). Better now, me thinks? Not quite complete, though. HofmicTalk 07:52, January 7, 2012 (UTC)
Hey there. You've been banned from the Chat for 40 minutes until 10:00 UTC because you were rapidly joining and leaving the channel due to a fault with your connection. If you believe the problem has been solved before your ban expires you may ask an admin or other chat mod to unban you. Cheers. MattTalk 09:22, January 9, 2012 (UTC)
Hi, if it's not to much to ask, could you please upload images with the file extensions in lowercase? (that is, *.png instead of *.PNG) It would save a LOT of moving files around in the future. While uppercase is not prohibited, lowercase is recommended by the image policy. When typing out an article freehand, if you know the image should be named "varrock dot png", you'd instinctively type sentence case, but if the extension of the file is actually in uppercase, you'll just get a red link and have to go scavenging off to find what the name of the file is (which takes a long time when adding in a lot of images). Thanks, HofmicTalk 02:18, January 14, 2012 (UTC)

As soon as I realized many of my friends and clan members are offline, one of my clan mate persuaded me to hold it until morning or afternoon. They saved me from ending up in a disappointment just like my last 99 party.
There's no need to worry right now, you still have a chance to watch me get 99 Defense and watch my Dungeoneering cape trim itself. The place will be in world 114 in Soul Wars area. Be sure to tell your friends and clans.
If anyone's under 1500 total level, we can try 77 instead. I will keep my promise.
Hello, Atheist723. You are currently disconnecting and reconnecting to the wiki's on-site chat frequently, causing several join and leave messages to appear. To fix this problem, you can try refreshing the page and checking your connection. Thank you. Hair 01:22, June 21, 2012 (UTC)
RuneScape:Chat/Reports has a report from earlier, but there is an hour of logs missing for some unknown reason. I would ask you this in chat but I'm lagging like I've never seen before . The logs that do exist say you had the chat logs stored somewhere but in the wrong format for RS:C/L. I was hoping you still had it and could upload it to pastebin or something similar so I could format them correctly and act upon the report. Cheers, Cåm13:25,14/7/2012 (UTC)
Sorry to bother so much, I just want to make sure everything is fine. I've readded my sig to Forum:Equipped_item_image_policy_change_proposal. Honestly, before you deleted it I was not getting that problem, so you'll need to tell me; If it comes up again then well... sucks for me I'll have to find the fix.
The assassin outfit is not in the beta as I own those in the picture and Solomon's General Store is not useable or even linked ot the beta, so why did you move them? RyanPM 17:50, July 23, 2012 (UTC)
