Game GuideEdit

Hey Ameobea, we're deleting all of the references to the now-defunct Game Guide, because all links to it now redirect to RuneScape's main page and are useless to cite. There are some cases here where the citations have been preserved, but I'm a little iffy on using potentially out of date links. We're pretty much just removing all of the {{CiteGG}} related templates on pages. It's Cook's birthday! 23:52, December 8, 2011 (UTC)

Game Guide citations Edit

And devdiary links? The only ones that needed to be removed were the ones using {{CiteGG}}, the rest just needed a little maintenance. Nex 16:23, December 11, 2011 (UTC)

Also, please be more attentive when doing stuff like this. It doesn't have an applicable infobox and there's only one image, which lines up fine. Nex 18:26, December 11, 2011 (UTC)

Okay And yes, references like that should be removed because that was in the actual game guide, and therefore been deleted. Things like the postbag, etc, aren't considered part of the GG, they've just been moved around. Nex 00:01, December 12, 2011 (UTC)

TransEdit

You're currently adding trans to images such as File:Full slayer helmet equipped.png without anti-aliasing on. This makes it look very choppy. That alongside the failure to crop the picture after you finish the transparency (Right click, go to Image, and hit Autocrop Image). Coelacanth0794 Talk 00:19, March 11, 2012 (UTC)

Ah, so you do use GIMP! Then I'll say what I've been taught (thus, how I do it). Using the Free Select Tool (Top row, in the middle, looks like a lasso), with Feather edges OFF and Antialiasing ON. Then you do transparency by... you know the rest. Coelacanth0794 Talk 16:45, March 11, 2012 (UTC)
