See, Enigma? I knew you would be a great candidate for administration! I'm really surprised how you didn't get to be one earlier, actually. From the looks of it, many users are rallying to support you, I for one. I am pleased that I have done at least something good for this wiki community. Oh, and by the way, please, there's no need at all to worry about the rather awkward issue of my own, which you seem to be aware of now. It's now my problem. I'll deal with it myself, and I want to drag as few people as possible into it. Besides, as I've said before, some people not very happy at me now might not openly support you either. ...Well, you really wanna know? It's just something Chiafriend said on that noob image deletion page. Looking back, I guess I really did overreact, but I just didn't get what he was getting at. I mean, I knew the wikia policies about censorship and everything, but it was I was just...odd, to list all of them there when we were only talking about the image. But there's seriously no need to make a big deal of things, especially not for you. It's okay, I think everything's mostly resolved now...Good luck on your administration! Hello. I'm transitioning the newsletter system to a new set of code that's largely incomplete so it's unavailable right now, but the original newsletter source code is at http://rstools.ath.cx/qbot/newsletter.phps --Quarenon  _{T | C | S} 01:47, November 11, 2009 (UTC)

That version of the code requires that you run it from a web server, where you must access it via a web browser. In Windows you have to configure PHP to run as a module for something like Apache or Microsoft IIS. Then you can browse to the script using a localhost address in the web browser. You can probably make the code run as a command line script for php.exe but you'll need to make major changes to get it to work. [edit] Moving Adam Smith Clan Pages

While I was a little put off by your actions in regards to why and how you moved this content, I do understand your motivation on this topic, and I hope that we can work with each other in terms of finding a home for content of this nature.

Now that I've had a chance to calm down, I've really got to thank you for doing this. Had it not been done, I would have just continued with the way that I was doing things with the clan, sort of staying in the shadows but not really addressing the real issues involved. It got me into my activist mode and has made me look to a permanent solution to the whole issue.

When I first became an administrator, one of my primary pledges was that I would not engage in wheel-warring. Admins can undo each other's actions, and I'll be honest: I was sorely tempted to use my admin privileges in this case to simply undo your actions as a complete reversion. Instead, I think it is better to reach into the greater user community at a place like the Yew Grove and try to come to a consensus on the issue.

BTW, I think you are doing an outstanding job of administration on this wiki, and you should continue to police actions that you think are somewhat questionable. Encouraging some discussion is useful, and with newer users perhaps suggesting that there is an appeal route to reverse the changes should be mentioned as well. Regardless, you did the right thing, and ultimately I think this will result in something even better for everybody. I hope you harbor no ill feelings toward me, as I have none toward you.

As a footnote, you are certainly welcome to "join" the Adam Smith Clan. It is still in the early organization stage right now, where the leadership of a single person can have an enormous impact on where it goes. --Robert Horning 15:40, November 12, 2009 (UTC)

Hey, Enig. I need your help with a project I assigned Stelercus, and his assignment was as follows: I asked him to design a festive (Christmas) skin for the Wiki as a feature on the RuneScape Wiki Post. Well, he's working on the skin, and he has asked me to find a festive logo to go with the skin, so I decided to ask you, as I think you've done this kinda thing before. If you can, I'd like it to appear like this:

1. Have snow on on the left and right sides, kinda like a spider web would hang from top-down, and widen at the bottom.
2. Shift all the writing to the right, and have it say 'RuneScape Wiki' in red.
3. On the left side, squeeze in a wintumber tree, festivites and all.
4. And maybe a few small present images at the bottom of the tree, I.E. Mystery box.

A Treasure and a Curse note: this is meant to be read as a poem.

A strongest warrior, possibly the best I ventured into this desolate place. Looking for naught but gain and plunder, even eternal life! Little did I know of my fate.

A large crystal, I did find One which, surely, would have great value But my greed would not be sated. I was told that sparkling waters existed, On which I could live forever

Two others, I did see In that fateful cavern Beyond the rocky ridge and the rope I found and lowered myself down From above

They seemed to be men, but something was strange. Their very bodies decayed, Their souls being the only thing to continue. Each wore strange armor, Ornate and beautiful, compared to my bareness and style. I thought that extra protection would slow me.

A furnace, beside which I warmed myself Provided no protection From the darkness That began to eclipse

A third door I created, to test the minds of any brutish knave Runes must be inserted And a third, to satisfy my greed Pillars of gemstones, of which My spells would absorb

Last, an intricate entryway, into my cavern Made to keep out any unworthy of the mystical arts

As I assembled a device to lower myself down, I noticed something strange Three men Naught but skeletons Circling around a gem

I stole the gem and shattered it Hoping that those dark monsters would vanish But no luck. They greedily grabbed a piece. One for each of themselves

I felt the evil presence of demons beyond that cavern, And so to protect my new home Cast a barrier. But what if I must hide from invaders?

I bound those skeletons to my will, and forced them to build a furnace One to fuse this gem back together I discovered a powerful magical force coming out of a boulder in the center of the room And so used my mystical and practical knowledge to construct A lock for that barrier that would only accept my key The gem, after enchantment

I gathered the essence of those three, and used it to duplicate Those skeletons that I had so feared. As I sat to rest on the mountain, Surveying all I had created I realized that they were merely protectors for the cavern, not me

And that I had been overpowered by the spirit of the Cavern

I've closed the discussion on the "Remove new updates" thread on the Yew Grove. I am interpreting the consensus on that thread to basically give a green light to some experimentation on what can be done to the recent changes (aka "My Home") page that has been added by Wikia. Interpret that yourself as you think best, but certainly act as though some consensus to make some changes has happened.
