So I've discovered that it is impossible to complete all of the quests without spending coins (I should've known, right?). I have amended my plan of not spending money to using coins only when there is no alternative available. Completing the quests and buying the cape cost me only a total of 146,660 coins (including the 99k for the cape) and 46 ectotokens. I recorded my spending here. Now I'm working on the achievement diaries.

[edit] How to get 99 cooking in 1 trip!

I found a theoretical method (albeit expensive and slow) that allows you to get to 99 cooking in just one trip. Just do the following:

1. Buy 6,517,216 raw swamp paste market price (costing 1479408032 coins) that's about 1 billion coins
2. Find a permanent fire
3. Cook the swamp paste using cook all
4. You will get 2 cooking exp per paste, giving you 13,034,432 experience
5. Congratulations! You've just advance a Cooking level! You have now reached level 99!
6. This method will take (at 4 ticks per paste), 26,068,864 ticks, or 260,689 minutes, or 4345 hours, which is just over 181 days (about 6 months of game time). I didn't say it was reasonable, but it could work!
