Hi, I'm Psycho Robot, that guy from that place. I edit here when the mood strikes me and I patrol recent changes a lot. I don't play RuneScape anymore (details below), but I picked up a lot of tidbits when I did play, so I can still edit. Honest I can! I like organizing pages by adding tables and can whomp up a beast of a table when the situation calls for it. I also clean up trivia and move/delete inappropriate entries.
[edit] Image stuff
I'm pretty good with images, and I offer my services to anyone who wants them. Post here for any services you require, such as adding transparency or getting new screenshots, of course! I go through the Images Needing Transparency and Needs Image categories but there are so many there, and I don't really have all the time in the world because I have this cute, male, kitty that needs huggling at night, so if you want to get special attention, post it there and it'll be my next top priority [haha more like 3rd]. All images I take in RS are high res, HD, 4x anti-aliased (on request), and transparent. I do not do personal images or images with extravagant costumes so if you appear in one of the images you want me to add transparency to, please dress modestly. I mean it! Or else I shall remove them!
[edit] Why I quit
I used to be a member, but I canceled my subscription on 26 July 2009, for the first time since I started membership in the summer of 2007, because of Jagex's lack of action in relation to the huge problem with price manipulation. Jagex's posts in the forums have lead me to believe that they're either not paying any attention at all, or they're deluding themselves, because they don't seem to think its a huge problem. It is.
This is just the most visible effect of a larger problem with Jagex: they don't play their own game. They don't know what players want, and they don't spend enough time on the forums to find out. Those updates which are not buggy are fundamentally flawed, such as the Skeletal horror, which rewards players who travel all over RuneScape and face of with some of its toughest monsters with 1,250 Slayer experience and 1,000 Prayer experience per week. That's not even enough to justify the bank time it takes to get ready for the fight, much less actually fighting it.
So Jagex doesn't know what players want and don't seem interested in finding out. The only contact an average player has with Jagex are a few posts on a thread (90% likelihood that the post is addressing a spammer rather than the content of a thread), over-hyped QA sessions that never seem to answer questions satisfactorily, and dogmatic "surgeries". They show no signs of getting better and no desire to do so. As such, they don't get my money!
