I've been playing RuneScape for over 2 years now with some long breaks during that time. Now, i'm thinking about getting membership for the first time but before I even think about doing so I will be aiming to have 3m gp (I currently have 118k and I have managed to get the full wizard gold trimmed robes and full runite armour. (Yay!)

HistoryEdit

Early DaysEdit

My early days in RuneScape were among the days where gold traders and unbalanced trades were common throughout the game, but I think that was what made it fun. You could watch all the newer players paying huge amounts of money for some basic equipment because that is what they needed and now it is much harder for said newer players to complete quests and get started on the ladder that is RuneScape because all of the richer and more experienced players instantly outbid newer players on both the Grand Exchange and in Trade Areas.

Setting my GoalsEdit

After I had completed Tutorial Island, I immediately set about completing some of the easier quests (eg. Cook's Assistant) and then after getting started I thought about my aims for my future in RuneScape.

After some thinking and time looking at the World Map I set off to Rimmington to start mining and now i've reached Level 57 and now I am aiming for the Mining Guild. Also, I set goals for cooking, smithing and fishing but mining was my first and will be the one that I aim to complete first.

Returning in 2008Edit

I returned to RuneScape properly about 1 month ago (August 2008) and with many changes such as the Grand Exchange and the Trade Limit I feel that most of the fun that we had has now gone only to be replaced by other things which do not provide the same amusement etc. that various things had had from before these updates. Now all I can do is train my skills and my combat and get involved in the 'balanced' Duel Arena or Bounty Hunter to try and find that fun from before.

Vision for the FutureEdit

My vision for the future will be to get membership and see if that is any more entertaining than non-members currently is because otherwise I feel that I may leave again and that is something that I do not want to do.

As a memberEdit

As a RuneScape Pay-to-Play member, I set about boosting my total level with the member skills while I had the money to do so, as well as the inclination.

Following the introduction of Dungeoneering, I left RuneScape in disgust but returned at the end of July 2010 as a member again with the plans to resurrect the character and improve my overall standing throughout RuneScape.
