Sure, you can argue all you want that it's good money, but it's slow and rather boring to train, especially in f2p. Of course, with the advent of starting over, and the addition of Runespan and what it offers, I may give this skill another chance.

Stuff Edit

Okay, now we're getting somewhere. I suppose I could tell my tale for anyone interested. I started playing RuneScape in mid-November of 2005. One of my best friends was on the phone with me, and demanded I check the game out. I was 13, and obsessed with the show InuYasha at the time, so my first account was named Kikyofire3. I kept this account for about a year, and made a secondary account at the time called Peteypirana1(I was also a fan of the Mario games). One night in 2006, I asked for membership in exchange for some chores, and my parents put the membership on Peteypirana1, causing me to use it far more often.

Throughout the next year and a half, I'd flip-flop between both accounts, using Kikyo for PKing and similar activities with friends after we started the GreenSkulls clan in May 2006(most of them wouldn't get membership for a while), and Petey for acquiring members items and doing quests as well. I also managed to get Kikyofire3 to be a player moderator.

I played pretty consistently until around the waning months of 2007. I was moving a lot at the time, and couldn't play as much. My mom, being very tech-impaired, had an obsessive paranoia with me using her computer, thinking it'd unleash some sort of virus, so she'd always unplug the keyboard and hide it somewhere. The problem with this was that the constant plugging and unplugging bent the contacts, rendering it unusable. I could still play on other computers, but not nearly as often. This was the primary reason for Kikyofire3 being demodded. There was a time when all P-Mods had to send in contact information, and with no computer access, this was impossible.

As soon as I heard about the removal of free trade and the wilderness, I immediately quit the game. This enraged me considering PKing with my clan was 80% of what I did on RuneScape. I continued my hiatus until very late April 2008, when I was at my friend's birthday party. Everyone was taking turns getting on their RuneScape accounts, and I decided I'd dust off Peteypirana1 considering it was still being paid for. My friends explained the workings of the Grand Exchange, and, upon searching around a bit, I noticed many of the items I wanted had dramatically plummeted in price.

After that was when I really started to get into the game. I met tons of new friends from this wiki, played almost every day, and got my clan truly back up and running thanks to help from recruiters and such. By the time summer was over, I'd gone from level 70 to level 102. Kikyofire3 had more or less faded from memory by this time.

Again, I played my ass off throughout most of 2008 and 2009, even going for a Godsword, albeit back when they were much more expensive. I took a short hiatus in October 2009 after dying at Dagganoths due to my game freezing, and lost a decent sum of stuff. I had to sell my Godsword to make up for losses. I didn't get on a whole lot due to various other reasons, like meeting online friends IRL, and my computer finally giving out after 7 years.

At this point, I played more or less on and off throughout 2010 and most of 2011. I kept trying to "revive" Peteypirana1 or get a clan event going, but it never really was the same. In mid-2010, I made another secondary account called NiteSneasel, but it didn't last long either, as it was a failed experiment, and I generally find pures pointless.

After 2011, I moved and didn't get my computer again until late September. I was really excited about the new clans feature, and couldn't wait to set up the GreenSkulls properly with it. But the fact of the matter was, I'd gotten hacked on Peteypirana1 right before I lost my computer. I have no idea how it happened because I change my password almost monthly, and the hacker didn't take any items to my knowledge, but the crushing blow was that he'd wiped my friends list clean. 200 people, gone. With the advent of the name-change feature, there was no way in hell I'd ever be able to add them back.

This, combined with a horrid graphical update to my signature item, the Verac's helm, drove me, after some thinking, to leave Peteypirana1 behind for good, starting anew in December 2011, with SmoothYamcha(I'm a huge DBZ fan). I wasted no time, achieving combat level 60 within four days, and 82 within 2 months. This is the current account I reside on, and I don't plan on changing this.

Over on the real world, I'm Nathan, a 19 year old from Texas who likes gaming, writing, freestyle rap, reading peoples' power levels, and more! I have a love for originality, and plan to study writing/directing.

Money Making(updated.) Edit

Here is a strategy for money making that most people don't know. This can get you 500K or more per hour. It's flooded with bots nowadays due to Jagex not cracking down on the situation(bots in members?? Seriously??), but it's still good for cash if you can be bothered to find a good world. All you do is go in the Stronghold of Security, then go to the Second floor, find level 35 flesh crawlers. (make sure you have empty inventory) Kill them and take all herbs(except Marrentill, Tarromin, Guam, and Harralander) and runes that they drop, then bank and repeat. After about 5 of these "runs" you should have at least 700K when you sell in the Exchange. This is subject to change due to price changes, however

Goalz and achievements Edit

My first major achievement item-wise was a Dragon Chainbody.

	This user owns a godsword.

I later sold it after it doubled in price. I still consider this my greatest achievement thus far.

	This user owns a Dragon platebody.

I got this as well. I really like it! Keeping with the chain for now, though.

	This user fights using Verac's armour.

My favorite item in the game used to be the Verac's Helm. The graphical update for it, however, makes it look really stupid, and it's one of the reasons I quit using Peteypirana1. What were you thinking Jagex?!

	This user owns a Dragon battleaxe.

My favorite dragon weapon, and solid proof that speed doesn't matter.
