Head over to the Squeal of Fortune from Friday 8th November and you’ll see two new masks up for grabs. One represents Icthlarin, the jackal-headed Kharidian god of the dead; the other embodies his sister Amascut, goddess of destruction.
Kill an enemy while wearing either mask and there’s a chance their soul will appear near their body. Wearing the Tormented mask of Icthlarin[help], this will be a lost soul. Interact with it to guide it safely to its final resting place – you’ll be rewarded with a hefty prize of Prayer XP.
If you’ve equipped the Starved mask of Amascut[help] however, you’ll see a delicious soul. Devour it, and you’ll receive an equally hefty slice of Slayer XP. Each mask allows you to guide or devour 20 souls and thereafter can be worn cosmetically. Note that they'll automatically become cosmetic two weeks after the end of the promotion, so be sure to use them up before then!
Alongside the masks, you’ll notice similarly themed relics. The Relic of Icthlarin[help] and Relic of Amascut[help] work in a similar way to fallen stars - for Prayer and Slayer respectively – but grant you twice as much bonus XP!
Additionally, bagging yourself Prayer and Slayer lamps during the promotion means 1.5x the usual XP. Use a prismatic lamp with either skill and you’ll receive the same 1.5x XP bonus!
Masks and relics are available from Friday 8th November 00:00 GMT until Monday 18th November 23:59 GMT. Everyone gets at least one spin per day, and can earn more through gameplay. Click here[help] to find out how. If you'd like more, you can purchase spins here, by redeeming Bonds in-game, or by clicking 'Add Spins' in the Squeal of Fortune interface.
