An Undead chicken is obtained during the quest Animal Magnetism from the farmer who lives just west of the Ectofuntus by paying him 20 ectotokens for an extra chicken (or two).
It is held widely that this is one of the worst weapons in the game, and is mostly used for fun when had. However, it has the same stats as the Rubber chicken and flowers.
This weapon can be bought during or after the quest if the player purchases 3 undead chickens, places one in their bank, and then proceeds to complete the quest. 4 if they want to keep two in their bank to keep their bank arranged.

[edit] Trivia
- The wielding animation of the Undead Chicken was updated in June 2009 to be a smoother version of the "idle" animation before the huge graphical overhaul. However, for a long time after the release of Runescape HD, the graphical animations of a player while wielding an Undead Chicken were not updated along with the rest of the wieldable weapons.
- Both the old and new animations for the Undead chicken make players turn their head to the right every so often.
- It's thought that Jagex want to keep the "head turn to the right" animation for historical purposes, as they revamped the old animation to be smoother rather than replace it.
