An undead lumberjack is a monster that can only be fought during Temple Trekking / Burgh de Rott Ramble. They come in 9 different levels; see table below. In each event where the lumberjacks attack, the player can get one piece of lumberjack clothing (the player can receive only ONE piece of clothing per event; repeatedly killing the lumberjacks after the player receives a piece of clothing in the same event is pointless). In a single event, the player will encounter 5 of these lumberjacks at a time (waiting causes more to appear) and if none of them drop a piece of clothing, it has been found that logging out and logging back in will cause them to drop the player's alloted 1 piece of clothing per event. This does not mean that the player may continue to log in and out to get more pieces. It cannot be stressed enough that the player will only get 1 piece of clothing per event. Undead Lumberjacks also drop other items instead of the lumberjack clothing, such as Thin snail meat and Guthix balance(1).
Undead lumberjacks count as kills on a Zombies Slayer task.
Sometimes, during the Undead lumberjacks will appear to stand on the water, just out of reach of any player using melee without a halberd. An Undead lumberjack can also 'climb' onto the bridge which needs to be repaired to attack it.

[edit] About the Event
Chances of getting this event is likely depending on the path you take during the minigame. You may get a similar event, but with only a zombie instead. This may include fixing a bridge, fighting a kraken, etc. For more information on these events, please refer to the minigame guide itself.
The best way to get the event is to take the easiest path (path 1) and evade all other events if possible. For additional rewards it is advised to take the hard difficulty escorts (as you are evading all fighting events, it is very unlikely for them to die)
