|Examine||An uncut dragonstone.|
An uncut dragonstone is a members-only gem used in Crafting. They require 55 Crafting to cut, granting 137.5 experience per stone. A cut dragonstone can be cut into Dragon bolt tips by using a chisel on a cut dragonstone at level 71 Fletching. Attempting to do this will bring up a message asking if the player is sure that they want to do so, as the stones are valuable.
Uncut dragonstones can be found in either of the crystal chests in Taverley or Prifddinas using a crystal key; each crystal key guarantees one uncut dragonstone from the chest in addition to other random items. Dragonstones may also be looted from a Dragon impling jar or a Kingly impling jar, by using a gem-finding scrimshaw, from a Challenge Mystery Bag or as a reward from a Fire spirit.
Mage Training ArenaEdit
The dragonstones occasionally found in the Mage Training Arena minigame are different from normal dragonstones because the Mage Training Arena "dragonstones" cannot be taken outside the Enchantment room; furthermore, they provide pizazz points when any enchantment spell is used on them. Several years ago, a glitch allowed players to take the stones outside the arena and trade them with other players, which has since been fixed.
