TzHaar-Mej-Lor is the librarian of the TzHaar City. He appears in the TokTz-Ket-Dill, the first TzHaar quest. He was first mentioned prior to his in-game addition, in Issue 28 of Postbag from the Hedge.
TzHaar-Mej-Lor is the TzHaar Library's sole librarian, although he does have an Library assistant that manages some of the library's sorting. As such, Lor is one of the wisest mystics of the TzHaar, and also one of the oldest. He wears a pair of large glasses, most likely not of TzHaar craft.
Although Lor is very intelligent, his knowledge of humans is limited. For instance, he believes that humans read ashes; this is because Reldo of Varrock sent him a number of books from the city's library, but they were burned to ash upon arriving. Regardless, he does know a bit about human history, and has revealed that the TzHaar once considered humans pets. This is supported in the memoirs of the Varrockian explorer Samuel Scourduel.
Lor plays a minor role in the TokTz-Ket-Dill quest, in which he helps players learn to read the TzHaar Language.
