TzHaar-Mej-Jeh is the starting NPC for The Elder Kiln and The Brink of Extinction. It hatches an egg from which Ga'al-Jeh is born after the player helped keeping the egg at the right temperature. However, the egg hatches to become a Ga'al, a TzHaar which has not inherited the memories of its parent, causing it to be caste-less and lawless. As a result, TzHaar-Mej-Ak takes the Ga'al to the Fight Pits, where Ga'al are normally killed, not knowing how to fight. After completing The Elder Kiln, TzHaar-Mej-Jeh will be in the main plaza.
The player attempts to save TzHaar-Mej-Jeh's Ga'al, but it is ultimately killed by the TzHaar champion.

After the player infuses Ga'al-Xox with the memories of the TzHaar champion's Tokkul, TzHaar-Mej-Jeh ignores the Ga'al's pleas to not attempt to pass Tokkul memories onto Ga'al, determined to save the declining TzHaar numbers.
TzHaar-Mej-Jeh appears to have feelings for its Ga'al, even though TzHaar are supposed to "Treat each other equally".
After acquiring all 3 TokHaar-Kal capes, the player may turn them in to TzHaar-Mej-Jeh for the Enhanced Fire Cape cosmetic override.
