The Turkey hat is a vanity item made available on 18 November 2011. To obtain a turkey hat, players must purchase a 90 day RuneScape game card from Target (US) or GAME (UK) stores, and redeem it between 18 November - 8 December 2011 or purchase the gold membership package between 20 January2012 and 31 January 2013. Next time a player logs in after redeeming the card, the hat will be deposited into their bank, or sent to Diango if they don't have space.
The hat can be stored in the Toy box in the costume room of a player owned house.
The turkey hat was leaked in a hidden update on 7 November, where a slot for the item was added to the fancy dress box.
The turkey hat is the third vanity item obtained from membership cards (after Ornate Katana and Green Skin).
If the 90 day membership card bought is not from TARGET (US) or GAME (UK) you will NOT get a turkey hat.
If the Turkey Hat is lost, it can be reclaimed from Diango. However, it cannot be redeemed by right clicking "Holiday-Items." You have to talk to him and click the "Do you have any other items?" dialogue.
