Tuna potato

From the RuneScape Wiki, the wiki for all things RuneScape

A detailed view of a tuna potato.

A Tuna potato can be created by members with a cooking level of 68. The finished potato will heal 22 hitpoints and is consumed in one bite making it one of the two tied second- highest healing single-bite foods in the game along with Manta rays. The rocktails found in the Living rock cavern heal 23 hitpoints and can potentially heal up to 10 hitpoints above your maximum.

To make a tuna potato, use a Potato with butter with a bowl of Tuna and corn topping, which provides 10 cooking experience. Making all ingredients from scratch for a tuna potato gives 309.5 cooking experience in total.

Compared to cooked Manta rays, the components of tuna potatoes are cheaper, provide more cooking experience, and have a lower level cooking requirement. Also, at the level required to cook one, a player cannot burn any of the ingredients, and putting them together requires no cooking. This means that it is impossible to "burn" tuna potatoes. However, the rate of experience gain from making tuna potatoes is much slower, as the player needs to go through 6 separate cooking stages to make one versus simply cooking the Manta ray for 216.3 cooking experience. In addition, the Manta ray weighs 0.1 kg less at 0.4 kg versus 0.5 kg for the tuna potato.
