  • What is this place?
    • Moia: We've infiltrated this giant, ancient god-beast, Tuska. We are currently on her back as she hurtles towards Gielinor to destroy it like countless planets in her past.
    • Scopulus Exactly. When Tuska entered our system, my masters forces sensed it immediately. Tuska is a threat to the planet and us all. She must be stopped before she reaches Gielinor.
    • Moia: It's true. Our masters are all forced to work together. We've been sent here in their stead as they cannot come themselves.
      • Why can't your master come themself?[sic]
        • Moia: Tuska is a force to be reckoned with. She has destroyed many worlds, siphoning their Anima Mundi to increase her power.
        • Scopulus: Yes, it is this Anima life force that prevents our masters coming here directly. Guthix has the same effect with his Edicts and we must work to diminish Tuska's power if my master is to arrive and destroy this beast!
        • Moia: That's correct - except it'll be my master that deals the killing blow!
        • Player: Will killing Tuska result in your master becoming a more powerful god?
        • Moia: Yes! It is the perfect chance for my master to ascend to heights unknown and leave these lesser gods in their place!
          • (Returns to initial options)
      • So what is going on here?
        • (Same as below)
  • What is going on here?
    • Moia: We've got a plan to weaken Tuska, but it requires us all to work together for the greater good.
    • Kamiee: This is true. We are required to be allies to prevent this global threat.
    • Player: So what's the plan?
    • Moia: It's not straightforward. Tuska is an ancient beast. Whilst we are here shielding everyone else from her gaze, we require defenders of Gielinor to step forward and infiltrate a weak-spot on Tuska.
    • Player: A weak-spot? Show me where!
    • Kamiee: That's the tricky part. The weak-spot is closer to Tuska's head and the only way we've got to get there is from above.
    • Moia: We've got our best mages working on stabilising debris that is caught in Tuska's orbit. Defenders need to board these chunks of debris, use their residual Anima Mundi to charge a wepaon we've designed -
    • Kamiee: - then stab it right into Tuska when they reach her weak-spot in the name of their faction!
      • (Returns to initial options)
  • Can you give me any rewards?
    • Moia: We have a small supply of items set aside that we are able to hand out to worthy champions. Including some that we had leftover from previous conflicts.
      • I'd like to see the new items.
        • (Tuska Event Rewards opens)

        • Player: Wait, if you are representing the Godless, who exactly is your master and what happens if they kill a god?
        • Scopulus: My master is Vorago, the embodiment of the world and defender of the Anima Mundi. The threat of Tuska directly targets the world, something my Master cannot stand by and allow to happen.
        • Player: So Vorago will fight a god?
        • Scopulus: My master can use the power of the Anima Mundi to be Gielinor's last line of defence. If he has to call upon it all, He plans to siphon it temporarily into himself to prevent devastation.
        • Player: And if he kills Tuska? Is that not against the Godless that they might have a god?
        • Scopulus: My master represents the Godless here as we all share the same belief that Gods should not force themselves upon the people of the world and have agendas. What will happen remains to be seen.

Soran[]

  • Player: Who are you?
  • Soran: I am called Soran. I am a faithful servant of the Empty Lord, who has sent me here to observe.
    • I'd like to support Zaros.
      • Player: I'd like to champion Zaros whilst I fight Tuska.
      • Soran: Your declaration is appreciated, but not applicable. Zaros is not involving himself in this conflict between lesser gods. Zaros is interested in the outcome, hence my presence. He sees no need to intervene however. The Empty Lord does not explain his motives to the likes of me, but I have no doubt that he has complete faith in the abilities of the world guardian.
        • (Returns to initial options)
    • What are you doing here?
      • Player: What are you doing here, Soran? Monitoring Tuska for Zaros?
      • Soran: To monitor Tuska, one need only look up. A telescope would be a convenience but not a requisite. To visit Tuska herself, would be entirely unnecessary. No, I am not here to monitor that god.
      • Player: But are you monitoring the other gods?
      • Soran's expression remains neutral as his head performs a motion that could be described as a third of the way towards a not. He gives no indication that this response is anything less than what you need.
      • Player: But are you monitoring a god?
      • Soran: Not solely.
        • (Returns to initial options)
    • Will Zaros intervene if Tuska gets too close to Gielinor?
      • Player: Zaros wouldn't let Tuska hit Gielinor would he?
      • Soran: I am but a servant. I cannot speak as to the specifics of what the Empty Lord will or will not do, only that he will protect his faithful.
        • (Returns to initial options)
    • What does Zaros think of our plan to weaken Tuska?
      • Player: Can you tell me what Zaros thinks of our plan to weaken Tuska?
      • Soran: I do not know that. I can tell you what I have observed. There is more to the gods than the champions here would have you know. By all means, allow them to save your world, but do consider the ramifications before you let them into your heart.

Wizard Chambers[]

Upon arrival on Tuska's back[]

  • Astromancer: Over here, Player.

Coming to Wizard Chambers[]

  • Astromancer: I am the Astromancer! Welcome to Tuska - the beast we are tasked with stopping before she reaches Gielinor on her destructive path!
  • Player: How?
  • Astromancer: Behind me is a floating platform. When I have the focus, I can fire it up above Tuska and maneuver the islands to allow adventurers to get closer to Tuskas[sic] head.
  • Player: What do we do if we get to her head?
  • Astromancer: Well, there is powerful Anima energy in the islands. As you move closer to her head you can use this to empower a new god weapon. With enough Anima we can defeat her.
  • Player: So where am I supposed to find this new god weapon?
  • Astromancer: Ah yes, let me show you the other areas of importance here on Tuska's back... Over there you have the various faction representatives. I suggest asking them more about the god weapon and their various battle plans. Tuska appears to become weakened slightly after she is exposed to Anima. While in her weakened state the quills on her back seem to become susceptible to removal. The blue quills give off some strange cosmic energy once removed. If my observations are correct, and they always are, it looks like this energy is capable of enhancing ones[sic] Agility. The green quills will take some more effort to remove. I'm sure that if you were to apply your Woodcutting skills you would be able to make short work of them. I'm not entirely sure that removing the quills is going to help stop Tuska but it does give me more research material. Finally we have this strange source of energy at the top of the spine. Even I'm not entirely sure what it is but what I do know is that it is seething with energy! Well, that's pretty much it. Isn't she marvellous!?

Talking to Wizard Chambers[]

  • Who are you?
    • Wizard Chambers: I am the master of Astromancy, a branch of Magic that specialises in the space beyond our world.
    • Player: I can't say I've heard much of this subject.
    • Wizard Chambers: Understandable. They mocked me for my studies back in the Tower. Now they call on me and realise the truth. This will be an event like no other.
      • What happens if we don't stop Tuska?
        • Wizard Chambers: We must. Tuska is on a collision course with our homeworld and we must defend it. Should the worst happen we can only hope the area she hits survives the impact and we've weakened her enough to prevent further damage.
          • (Returns to initial options)
      • What happens if we defeat Tuska?
        • Wizard Chambers: If we are victorious when this is over, we celebrate! Then we deal with the problem of this massive body heading in the direction of our planet still...
          • (Returns to initial options)
  • Who is Tuska exactly?
    • Wizard Chambers: From what research has been done, Tuska is an ancient being. Her exact origin is still unknown but it is clear she has had dealing with other Gods. Guthix and Skargaroth to say the least.
    • Player: So why now? Why is Tuska here now?
    • Wizard Chambers: My speculation is that with the edicts destroyed and the Gods attracting attention to the world, Tuska has been lured by the Anima Mundi on our planet. She is drawn to Anima it would seem.
      • What is Anima Mundi again?
        • Wizard Chambers: Anima Mundi is the life force of our planet. It has very close connections with Gods and can bring power to those who seek it. For good or bad.
          • (Returns to initial options)
      • Please go on.
        • (Returns to initial options)
  • What can I do here?
    • Wizard Chambers: During the first twenty minutes of every hour, I focus my Astromancy on sending groups of Adventurers towards Tuska. If you wish to take part I suggest you jump over to the platform to the West and await my power. If you've come in a pre-formed group ready to go, just speak to me and I'll send your team immediately.
      • What exactly is there to be done?
        • Wizard Chambers: There is plenty to be done on Tuska. Obviously our main objective is to defeat her. I've scouted some weak spots, but unfortunately they are on her head and her great quills prevent simple access.
        • Player: So how do we get there?
        • Wizard Chambers: Well this is where I come in. I've studied the effects of gravity and various sciences for a long time now. I've managed to devise a plan with the Champions to send adventurers to islands I can stabilise around Tuska.
        • Player: Wait...what?
        • Wizard Chambers: This is the fun bit, yes. The Champions to the East have bought[sic] with them great weapons. However we still need them to be charged with Anima Mundi to breach Tuska's skin and do damage. Luckily this whole area is Anima infused. There are many remnants of destroyed worlds Tuska has visited that still orbit her great mass. We plan to send groups of heroic adventurers to this debris and siphon the Anima, powering the weapon and all the time moving closer to Tuska's weak-spot.
          • (Returns to initial options)
      • That's all.
        • Wizard Chambers: Farewell.
  • Any other activities?
    • Wizard Chambers: Whilst the process of Astromancy drains me, I've noticed Tuska seems to recover afterwards by regenerating various parts of her body. You can try to prevent this if you wish. When I'm recharging, you may do various activities. I suggest you head north and check out Tuska's Quills, or just south to clear up some parasites.
      • (Returns to initial options)
  • All for now.
    • Wizard Chambers: Farewell.

Attempting to start the event outside the scheduled time[]

  • Astromancer: I wouldn't normally be sending anyone up right now. But I could let you start the assault early, but I can only do this once per day.

Charging the Anima spear[]

  • You fully charge the Anima spear and are ready to unleash it into Tuska!

Stabbing Tuska at her weak spot[]

If aligned with the Saradomin

  • Player: By the power of Saradomin!

If aligned with the Zamorak

  • Player: Suffer the fury of Zamorak!

Post-event dialogue[]

On Tuska's corpse[]

Garlandia[]

  • Garlandia: Good day to you.
    • Who are you?
      • Garlandia: My name is Garlandia. I am from New Domina, and I am proud to be an icyene. I used to be a noble being, with wings that were the envy of everyone. But I lost them in an act of savagery. I am also of the Godless. We do not heed the call of gods. If we turn a deaf ear to their demands, then they will be forced to fight each other alone.
        • How did you lose your wings?
          • Garlandia: I am icyene, and our home was ruled by Saradomin. Though he brought knowledge and wealth to our lands, he also brought war. He demanded that we fight for him, and many did so willingly. At a banquet, he called across the room and asked whether I would be joining his infantry or bombardiers. I told him that I had no intention of fighting at all. In his embarrassment over my refusal, he gathered everyone into the courtyard. There, he ripped by beautiful wings from me. For an icyene, that is as good as death.
            • What is life like on New Domina without wings?
              • (Same as below)
            • I have other questions.
              • (Returns to initial options)
        • What is life like on New Domina without wings?
          • Garlandia: It is unforigivng. On our homeworld, we migrate regularly from one continent to another. This is to keep in the sun. To be in the cold is almost certain death. Without wings, I could not migrate. I endured the cold for what seemed like forever - basking in the fleeting sun. But I survived when others could not. I did not survive unscathed. My skin has shed its colour - a reminder of the sacrifice I made to be free of a god.
            • How did you lose your wings?
              • (Same as above)
            • I have other questions.
              • (Returns to initial options)
        • I have other questions.
          • (Returns to initial options)
    • What's happening here?
      • Garlandia: With Tuska's defeat, we have found a window to a new world. The Godless are here to ensure that this new world stays safe from the influence of our gods. Also to ensure that we are safe from theirs.
        • (Returns to initial options)
    • Why are you with the Godless?
      • Garlandia: I have witnessed a god's savagery first-hand. Saradomin is no paragon of purity and order, as he maintains. He sentenced me to a life without wings, simply to save face and preserve his dignity. Gods are like us - corrupted and flawed - but with devastating power at their proposal. I rejected Saradomin to underline that point. When a god calls, we do not have to answer. I joined the Godless so that I could seed a thought: that we do not need to worship these gods. With no worshippers left, they will leave us in peace, or fight each other directly. We can achieve this victory through strength of will, not blood on a battlefield.
      • Player: Does everyone agree with that way of thinking?
      • Garlandia: Many of the Godless see my point of view, but others do not. Kara-Meir is one of them. She believes that force is the only way to answer the rule of the gods. She is fiercely strong, but also hot-headed. We do not possess the strength to kill gods, even with large numbers. Why does she think we can beat them with force? It is lunacy! If we stopped worshipping gods, then they will look for their armies elsewhere. We can win through peaceful means.
        • Does everyone agree with that way of thinking?

              • (Same as below)
            • I have other questions.
              • (Returns to initial options)
        • Who else is in the Godless?
          • Player: Who else is in the Godless?
          • Garlandia: Our numbers are increasing daily, as more and more people realise we do not need these gods. Some of our notable members include a leader of trolls, Fossil. He duelled Bandos when the god claimed his tribe. The battle scarred Fossil, but he is still alive. There is Ux, a demon who - like Kara-Meir - believes we should be fighting the gods. He is looking to break the pact that Zaros and Zamorak maintain over his people. And there is our wise leader, Biehn. He founded the Godless after the fall of Guthix. He is well-versed in many magicks, but portal magic is his specialty.
            • Does everyone agree with that way of thinking?
              • (Same as below)
            • I have other questions.

    • That is all.
      • Garlandia: Don't believe the lies the gods tell you.

Scopulus[]

  • Before The World Wakes
    • Scopulus: The earth remembers you, hero.
      • (Continues below)
  • After The World Wakes
    • Scopulus: The earth remembers you, World Guardian.
      • (Continues below)
  • Who are you?
    • Scopulus: I am Scopulus. I am born of the earth, and should The Enduring will it, I shall return to it.
      • The Enduring?
        • Scopulus: The Enduring. The Immovable. You may know it as Vorago. I came to exist at Vorago's command. I am but a tiny fragment of the earth, given the will and means to defend itself. But none can defend like Vorago, killer of so-called gods.
          • (Returns to initial options)
      • I have other questions.
        • (Returns to initial options)
  • What's happening here?
    • Scopulus: I stand ready to act, should the Challengers parasites choose to despoil the earth. The earth has no further interest here.
      • The Challenger?
        • Scopulus: The World Devourer. Tuska.
          • (Returns to initial options)
      • Parasites?
        • Scopulus: Though the Challenger is dead, her parasites, the Airut, remain. Only time separates us from an invasion.
          • (Returns to initial options)
      • I have other questions.
        • (Returns to initial options)
  • Why are you with the Godless?
    • Scopulus: I am of the earth. The earth is not of the Godless. The earth is of the earth. The earth stood with the Godless as the challenger approached. It was a necessity. I do not stand here to aid these humans in their quest.
      • Actually, they're not both human.
        • Scopulus: As you wish.
        • Player: Garlandia is an icyene. Kara-Meir is a human like me.
        • Scopulus: [sic]
        • Player: Do you understand what I'm saying?
        • Scopulus: The distinction is not important.
          • I think it is.
            • Scopulus: As you wish.
              • (Returns to initial options)
          • Maybe it isn't...
            • Scopulus: As you wish.

      • I have other questions.
        • (Returns to initial options)

Kara-Meir[]

  • Kara-Meir: Hero.
    • If you do not have the Sunspear with you.
      • (Continues below)
    • If you have the Sunspear with you.
      • Kara-Meir: Hang on a second, that IS that weapon you're carrying? The cruel-looking sword?
      • Player: You mean this spearhead? It's called Sunspear-a fabled vampyre-killing weapon, apparently.
      • Kara-Meir: I thought it looked familiar, but that's NOT Sunspear. I have Sunspear, and it's a dagger not a sword.
      • Player: I'm pretty sure you don't- I took this off Lord Drakan himself.
      • Kara-Meir: Yes, and I used my dagger to kill Prince Tenebra himself.
      • Player: Don't you think it a bit odd that yours is a dagger, yet it's called SunSPEAR? Mine WAS once part of an actual spear.
      • Kara-Meir: Yes, very odd. Perhaps my dagger was once part of a spear too?
      • Player: Maybe even the spear, who knows?
        • (Continues below)
    • Who are you?
      • Kara-Meir: I am Kara-Meir, one of the Godless. I intend on ensuring that this...
      • Kara-Meir stamps her foot on Tuska's back.
      • Kara-Meir: Is[sic] not the last god we destroy.
        • (Returns to initial options)
    • What happened here?
      • Kara-Meir: This is the final resting place of the World-Eater: the boar goddess, Tuska. Tuska was on a collision course with Gielinor, and the Godless sprung into action.
        • The Godless alone managed to kill a god?
          • Kara-Meir: We had some help from the Council of Astromancers. Which is one man. He insists we recognise his council as legitimate.
          • Wizard Chambers: I think the Council has proven itself to be a valuable contributor to the magical community!
          • Kara-Meir: Yes, yes.
          • Player: So, it was just the Godless and Wizard Chambers?
          • Kara-Meir: A fair few adventurers also lent us their skills. And we reluctantly accepted help from other minority contributors... Out of necessity, we allowed the gods to continue their endless feuds. Only to accelerate the process of putting an end to them all.
          • Player: So really, it was you, the Godless, a wizard, and army of adventurers, and a handful of gods that banded together to defeat Tuska?
          • Kara-Meir: Yes. Except I wasn't there exactly. I was busy coordinating Godless efforts elsewhere. A matter required my urgent attention. Otherwise I would have been there.
            • `(Returns to previous options)
        • Can you show me what happened?
          • Replay Tuska's defeat?
            • Yes.
              • (Tuska's defeat plays)
            • No.
              • (Returns to previous options)
        • I have other questions.
          • (Returns to initial options)
    • What's happening here?
      • Kara-Meir: We are observing the window, and formulating a plan. If something emerges, we need to be ready to deal with it. Gielinor already has enough warring factions, I'm not prepared to let another one slip through some portal unchecked.
        • (Returns to initial options)
    • Why are you with the Godless?
      • Kara-Meir: Mortals are made to be free. I am in no hurry to be led by an imbecile who craves nothing but power. Why should anyone but me decide my fate? We've lived too long in fear of these gods. We are many and they are few. It's time we took advantage of that state of affairs before we become the few. A mere mortal cannot destroy a god, but in our legions we are stronger. Perhaps, if we manage to kill a god, mortals will be rewarded with the Stone of Jas. Imagine! I could destroy the gods and free us all from their tyranny!
        • To replace it with what?
          • Kara-Meir looks away, her jaw clenched.
            • What do they represent?
              • Kara-Meir: Biehn, our leader, set up the Godless in the hope that we might free mortals from the tyranny of gods. We do not need to worship them. The gods have shown, repeatedly, that war follows them closely. To save ourselves from that war, we need to defeat them. The sooner we do this, the sooner we can return to peace. Garlandia has the ear of Biehn. She believes that we shouldn't fight the gods - that, if we stop worshipping them, then they'll have no one to rule. That they will leave. She is wrong. The gods cannot be reasoned with. They crave power, and will not leave if we stop worshipping them - they will merely destroy us. Look at what they're doing for a simple stone.
                • (Returns to initial options)
            • I have other questions.
              • (Returns to initial options)
        • A noble goal.
          • Kara-Meir simply nods, eyes intent.
            • What do they represent?
              • (Same as above)
            • I have other questions.
              • (Returns to initial options)
        • I don't believe the stone should be used by anyone.
          • Kara-Meir raises one eyebrow, but says nothing.
            • What do they represent?
              • (Same as above)
            • I have other questions.
              • (Returns to initial options)
        • Wouldn't that make you no better than them?
          • Kara-Meir looks troubled at the retort, and offers no response.
            • What do they represent?
              • (Same as above)
            • I have other questions.
              • (Returns to initial options)
    • That is all.

Wizard Chambers[]

  • Who are you?
    • Wizard Chambers: I am the master Astromancy, a branch of Magic that specialises in the space beyond our world.
    • Player: I can't say I've heard much of this subject.
    • Wizard Chambers: Understandable. They mocked me for my studies back in the Tower. When Tuska was first spotted in the sky it was the Astromancers who saw her, who helped rally people to fight.
    • Player: So what happened here?
    • Wizard Chambers: After a massive amount of heroism from various adventurers, we were able to do enough damage to Tuska to bring down her Anima shields and the faction that did the most damage summoned their greatest champion to deal the finishing blow.
      • (Returns to initial options)
  • Who is Tuska exactly?
    • Wizard Chambers: Research is still being carried out on her past, but it is clear Tuska was an ancient being. Her exact origin is still unknown but it is clear she has has dealings with other Gods. Guthix and Skargaroth to say the least.
    • Player: And why did she come?
    • Wizard Chambers: My speculation is that with the edicts destroyed and the Gods attracting attention to the world, Tuska was been[sic] lured by the Anima Mundi on our planet. She was drawn to Anima like a shark to blood.
      • What is Anima Mundi again?
        • Wizard Chambers: Anima Mundi is the life force of our planet. It has very close connections with Gods and can bring power to those who seek it. For good or bad.
          • (Returns to previous options)
      • Other questions.
        • (Returns to initial options)
  • What can I do here?
    • Wizard Chambers: Every hour on the hour I'm willing to focus my powers on the debris that lies beneath the sea. Various island and debris that was previously in orbit of Tuska are now beneath the sea. I'll bring them back to the surface for you to siphon any remaining Anima out of.
      • (Returns to previous options)
  • Talk about rewards
    • (Tuska Event Rewards opens)
  • All for now.
    • Wizard Chambers: Farewell.

In Vorago's borehole[]

Sliske[]

  • Sliske: Fancy meeting you here, Player. Such a coincidence! Such a small world! But alas, you meet me as I am leaving. The big paperweight, Vorago, and I have already finished our chat... if you could call it that. I will save you the dull and inevitable question. I am here because he has killed a god, Tuska. So, I have invited him to my Big Game. Vorago will join Armadyl. They both gain the chance of seizing the Stone of Jas, because they have both killed gods. Hmmm. I wonder if there will be the opportunity to kill one bird with two stones?
    • When is this Big Game?
