- Player: Thank you.
- What are you doing here?
- At the Combat Training Camp
- Philipe Carnillean: I've come to use the training facilities. The next time I fight a big monster, you're not going to be there to distract it for me!
- Playerr: That's true.
- Philipe Carnillean: My family's always had permission to train here, but it's been years since any of us bothered.

- At the Mountain Camp
- Philipe Carnillean: I've been observing the tribe that lives here. Their society is utterly different to anything I ever saw in Ardougne.
- Player: Yes, I've seen them myself.
- Philipe Carnillean: My fathers says these barbarian tribes are ignorant savages, but I don't think they're ignorant or savage at all.

- At Shilo Village
- Philipe Carnillean: I heard this village had zombies that I could fight.
- Player: Rashiliyia's minions are still around, yes.
- Philipe Carnillean: The zombies were a bit of a let-down, but it's nice to find a village with a proper hotel. I hadn't slept in a bed for ages.

- At Port Phasmatys
- Philipe Carnillean: All my life, I've heard stories about the monsters of the Eastern Lands. I thought I'd come and see them for myself.
- Player: There are some pretty nasty things around here, yes.
- Philipe Carnillean: I didn't realise how terrible the conditions are for people living here. There's always plenty of work for adventurers like us.

- At the Polypore Dungeon
- Philipe Carnillean: I've been getting to know this skinweaver lady. She says she created this entire place out of fungi.
- Player: It's a very strange place.
- Philipe Carnillean: Yeah, have you met the shopkeeper? He's the strangest thing in here! Get him to tell you about himself; you'll see what I mean.

- At Dorgesh-Kaan
- Philipe Carnillean: There's a goblin here who's supposed to be very wise. I wanted to meet him, and maybe learn from him.
- Player: Why?
- Philipe Carnillean: My father always said that goblins were dumb brutes, but, from what I've seen of this city, they're more advanced than we are.

- At the Piscatoris Fishing Colony
- Philipe Carnillean: This colony was being destroyed by sea trolls, until a couple of famous adventurers saved the day. I came here to learn the full story.
- Player: Ahem.
- Philipe Carnillean: That Wise Old Man must be an amazing chap.
