In Prifddinas, after Plague's End

  • Morvran: What do you want?
    • Can we talk about assignments?
      • Player: Can we talk about assignments?
      • Morvran: I suppose we can. What do you want to ask about?
      • Player: I need another assignment.
        • If you do not yet have the required skill levels:
          • Morvran: Sorry, but you're not strong enough to be taught by me. Get stronger.
      • Player: Do you have any special assignments for me?
        • If you are currently on a Slayer assignment:
          • Morvran: You're already on a perfectly good assignment. What more do you want?
            • (Returns to previous-to-previous options)
    • Can we talk about items and incentives?
      • Player: Can we talk about items and incentives?
      • Morvran: Well, which is it? Items for sale or incentives?
      • Let's talk items.
        • Morvran: I have plenty of slayer equipment - take a look.
          • (Slayer Equipment interface opens)
      • Let's talk incentives.
        • View rewards
          • (Slayer Rewards interface opens)
        • How do I earn co-op points to spend on rewards?
          • Morvran: You'll gain co-op points if you complete at least half of your contribution to a task with a friend. That means you need to be in a group for most of the time you're working on your task, but it doesn't matter if your friend beats you to the majority of kills! You'll still have been in a group for most of your contribution, so you're still entitled to a co-op reward point.
            • View rewards
              • (Slayer Rewards interface opens)
            • Where can I use the co-op food and potion rewards?
              • (Same as below)
            • That's all, thanks.
        • Where can I use the co-op food and potion rewards?
          • Morvran: The rewards can be used in most of the areas we commonly send you to complete your tasks.

              • (Same as above)
            • That's all, thanks.
      • Do you have any other rewards?
        • Player: Do you have any other rewards?
        • Morvran: For my more able students, I have a special challenge that I offer, and there are some small rewards - besides the glory - that I offer for completing it. Each time you complete the challenge, I will pay for a free retune of the Max Guild portals - although I won't pay for more than 30 in advance. I will also allow you to carry special black crystals which have a debilitating effect on you, to make your slaying more challenging.
          • What are black crystals?
            • Player: What are black crystals?
            • Morvran: Black crystals are corrupted crystals that have resisted our attempts to cleanse them. The corruption is too strong. Like the dark crystals, they have debilitating effects when carried. Some of my braver students have taken to carrying some to make their slaying more challengeing[sic]. I allow people to carry them only if they have proved their worth by completing my challenge.
            • Player: Is there any benefit to carrying them?
            • Morvran: There is no material reward. But, the glory! The challenge! Are these not good enough for you?
              • (Returns to previous-to-previous options)
          • Talk about something else.
            • (Returns to previous-to-previous options)
    • Let's talk about you.
      • Player: Let's talk about you.
      • Morvran: My favourite subject. What do you want to know?
        • Tell me more about your background.
          • Player: Tell me more about your background.
          • Morvran: I am Lord Iorwerth's nephew. The old Lord Iorwerth, that is. I was raised as a leader in our clan. I looked up to my uncle; it was he who appointed me as our clan's Head of Intelligence. It was my duty to amass knowledge of our enemies - their strengths and weaknesses - and how best to defeat them. I was also in charge of interrogations and assassinations.
          • Player: How did you become a slayer master?
          • Morvran: My duties gave me cause to travel far beyond the borders of Tirannwn, though always in disguise of course. In my travels, I made the acquaintance of a lovely young lady by the name of Kuradel. She taught me much about the wider world, and I her about the many mysteries of this world closed off to her. She is a remarkable woman. I found myself fascinated by her and what she does, and so I decided to turn my talents and knowledge towards slaying. We have to find our place again among the other clans. Some of us still begrudge how things played out, but I intend to embrace this change. My own knowledge of slaying has now surpassed even Kuradel's, theoretically speaking, of course. She is more suited to practical application...
          • Player: Only theoretically?
          • Morvran: Oh, I could easily kill any beast if I so desired. I've certainly done plenty of it in my time... but there are always others willing to do the dirty work. I prefer to watch these days - to study and learn. Despite what you may think of the Iorwerth, I feel there has been enough blood spilled during the civil war. I have always preferred to only kill when absolutely necessary.
            • (Returns to previous-to-previous options)
        • About Clan Iorwerth...
          • Player: About Clan Iorwerth...
          • Morvran: Look, I was never a fan of that whole Dark Lord business. I have my own interests, and I am still able to indulge them. But as an Iorwerth, I am duty-bound to my lord. We take duty seriously, something the other clans are less concerned over.
          • Player: So you were just following orders? Like that's a justification.
          • Morvran: I cannot speak for the actions of others, but I always ensured that my own actions - my orders - were just. Within any war, each individual must draw their own lines. I can hold my head high knowing I remained true to my beliefs.
          • Player: Weren't you an assassin and interrogator?
          • Morvran: Wars require both. All of my targets were of military value, never civilians or innocents, and I never once resorted to the use of torture. Again, I can only be held accountable for my own actions, not those of others.
          • Player: Do you think a massacre is justifiable?
          • Morvran: No, of course not, and I am glad that you put a stop to it. Don't paint all Iorwerth with the same brush simply due to the actions of my uncle. He was wrong, that much is clear, and we must now find a way to once more live among our brethren. There is need of someone such as I to ensure the safety of all the clans, the Clan Iorwerth needs a leader with a more... palatable outlook. This is why I have waived my right of lordship over to lestin. He is an unconventional choice, but a necessary one. Some of the older Iorwerth diehards are having a hard time accepting him, but I will keep them in line. They respect me, and for as long as I support Iestin, they will follow his lead, or they will not be welcome here.
            • (Returns to previous-to-previous options)
        • So what's in this dungeon then?
          • Player: So what's in this dungeon then?
          • Morvran: Since the regrowing of Prifddinas, I've tasked the lovely Kuradel to supply me with creatures for my... collection.
          • Player: To what end?
          • Morvran: A challenge, but only for the most elite of slayers!
          • Can I go in there?
            • Player: Can I go in there?
              • If you do not yet have the required skill levels:
                • Morvran: No. You are not worthy of my time.
                • You require 85 Slayer to access Morvran's arena.
          • Morvran: Is that all?
            • (Returns to previous options)
    • Can I use your dungeon?
      • Player: Can I use your dungeon?
        • : If you do not yet have the required skill levels
          • Morvran: I don't think so. You're not skilled enough to enter my dungeon.
          • You require 85 Slayer to enter Morvran's Rush of Blood arena.
    • Er...nothing...
