None of my other creations are as important as this one, and yet it cannot have a testing phase, there's just no time. What a dilemma.
1. Take the mainspring and carefully attach the gear train.
2. [This step is smudged]
3. The escapement must then be carefully tightened on to the final gear.
4. [This step is smeared]
5. Finally, the pump must be slotted into place.
This should work. I hope this works. It has to work.
