- Hannu, Emissary of V: My name is Hannu, and I am here to uphold the memory of V, Hero of the Fremennik. If you wish to find out more about our great Hero, I will be honoured to help. You can also declare your allegiance to his memory. If you do, I may have some work for you.

- Hannu, Emissary of V: What do you want to know about V?
- Who is V?
- Hannu, Emissary of V: V is our Hero. From humble beginnings, he grew in courage and wisdom, took on the great evils of the land and sent them running for their creator. He taught us the meaning of heroism, gave us our ethic. He built some of the rune altars before magic became a sticky point with the rest of the Fremennik tribes. When Guthix placed his edicts to end the God Wars, V had to leave. He came back when the edicts ended, having helped a thousand worlds! We gave him a memorable welcome! Then...

- Why should I follow V?
- Hannu, Emissary of V: You can help me uphold his memory and show the world what it is to be a hero! Help the people, give them someone to look up to.
- What does V want?
- Hannu, Emissary of V: V's gone. But we want his memory to live on. We want the flame of heroism to still be lit in the heart of the oppressed, help them grow brave and uprise against their tormentors! May the tales of his great deeds awake the hero in each and every one of us!

- Hannu, Emissary of V: That's wonderful! On behalf of V's followers, I welcome you. Please, take this banner to show your support. I have a gift for you: a book of stories regarding the gods and their followers. Please, read it and learn wisdom. Although they have lost their way, there is something to be learned from reading of the other gods as well. The book is not yet complete, however. When you complete some jobs I will give you more pages.
