The top of sceptre is a piece of the skull sceptre that is dropped by catablepons on the third level of the Stronghold of Security. It is combined with the bottom of sceptre to get the runed sceptre. It's the hardest part of the Skull sceptre to obtain. It has also been confirmed that, while the Varrock armour does indeed considerably increase the drop chances of this sceptre part, the probabilities of getting one is nonetheless still slightly less than the others. The Stronghold of Security is the dungeon beneath Barbarian Village, to the west of Varrock and east of the Dwarven Mine.

Obtaining the PieceEdit

Players who wish to kill the Catablepons to obtain their part of the sceptre should know that it takes a while and that taking supplies to kill about 50-100 Catablepons or so, should be taken if the player wishes to obtain it in one trip. Keep in mind while preparing that the most devastating thing about them is not the damage they inflict, but the spell they use-Weaken-which drains strength by up to 15% of their opponent's maximum level. It would be advisable to bring a supply of strength potions to boost up your strength and help counter-act this spell.
