Toktz-mej-tal detail

TokTz-Mej-Tal (roughly translated as Obsidian staff) is a two-handed staff. It requires 60 Magic to wield and is usable only for magic combat. Players can buy the TokTz-Mej-Tal at the weapons store in the TzHaar city for 52500 Tokkul. Its stats are similar to the god staves, but tradeable and with a Prayer bonus.

This weapon isn't used often because it costs Tokkul that is usually spent on an uncut onyx, and it is only dropped by TzHaar-Mej, which can cast powerful spells on anyone who attacks them. Despite this, it is cheaper than the god staves on the Grand Exchange, though due to the aforementioned issues it can be difficult to buy. Like all obsidian weapons, this staff cannot be made using the Crafting skill. The item was graphically updated on the 14th of February 2012.

TriviaEdit

  • Though the direct translation would be Obsidian-Magic-Staff, the correct translation would most likely be Magical-Obsidian-Staff.
  • This staff, along with Ahrim's staff, are the only staves that were two-handed before the release of the Evolution of Combat.
