The Toad and Chicken is a bar and an inn found in Burthorpe, north of Taverley. It has two floors.
On the ground floor it is a pub. On the first floor there are rooms to stay in. Players doing the Death Plateau quest can find Harold in the third and last room. Wizard's Mind Bomb, Dwarven Stout and Asgarnian Ale are all purchasable from this bar for 2 coins each. An Asgarnian Ale spawn can be found on the bar counter.
In the pub's garden players must help the NPC Bernald during the Garden of Tranquillity quest by curing his grape vines.
There is also a separate section of the pub in Burthorpe Games Room. The barmaid there is called Sam, and she stocks the same drinks as the above ground pub, for the same price.
The name is a reference of a basilisk, which is said to hatch from a chicken's egg which a toad has incubated.
