Third age warrior armour

Third Age warrior armour is a set of Third Age armour for warriors. To wear this armour the player needs at least 65 Defence. The only ways a player can receive Third Age warrior armour is by obtaining it from a level 3 Clue scroll, buying it in the Grand Exchange, or trading with another player.. The chances of receiving a piece of Third Age are extremely low, approximately 1 in 10,000, according to Paul Gower. This armour can not be bought in stores or be made through the Smithing skill.

Third Age melee armour is currently the rarest armour in the game. Due to its extreme rarity, it is also the most expensive melee armour. In the Grand Exchange, the Third Age melee set has a market price of 356,200,000. While it is currently considered to be the best non-degradable armour in the game, Bandos armour offers prayer, and strength bonuses, and because it is far cheaper, is more widely used than Third Age armour. Third Age warrior armour is mainly worn to show wealth.

• The silverish metal might be based on platinum, a white, silverish, and expensive metal, and a symbol of purity, or titanium, also a white silverish metal, but much stronger and even lighter than steel. It also resembled the fabled metal mithril in other fantasy novels like The Lord of the Rings.
• If worn with a leaf-bladed sword, it resembles the armour worn by the soldiers of Gondor in The Lord of the Rings films. In the timeline of The Lord of the Rings, the Third Age is also when the events of the story take place.
